A little tip when using blackouts:
Instead of spoiling the whole line thereby making someone click/highlight it to be able to see what it's even about, give a little hint like "character spoiler:" or "stage spoiler:" or something beforehand or at least blackout just the pertinent information so that people will know not to click if it's a particular thing they don't want to see.
For example, "Spoiler:Mr. Peepers / Duck Hunt Dog is confirmed and has attacks based off of Spoiler:Hogan's Alley and Wild Gunman." is better than just blacking the whole line.
Yeah yeah, effort, I know. It helps everyone though.
...Where's everyone getting the Spoiler:Mr. Peepers name from? Also, now that Spoiler:Ness is confirmed, people can finally shut the hell up about him possibly getting cut.

How is it a spoiler that Ness is in this game? I know the Ice Climbers seem to have been cut but I don't know how anyone expected Ness to get the boot. He's been in since the original, it's not like he's just going to get the boot after being in the other 3.
EDIT: Also extremely disappointed to see Dark Pit is taking a character slot in the game. I will get over Duck Hunt Dog, may even end up using him occasionally, but Dark Pit was seriously not wanted from me.
I gotta say though, Duck Hunt Dog seems SO uninteresting, and apparently his final smash involves the goons from Urban Champion? .....Uhhhhh alrighty then.
Also all the "leakers" who included Impa can go eat a bag of shit for getting my hopes up like that. I hate them and until release I will still cling to the futile hope that she's in and it's an unnecessary heart ache!

Those guys are from Wild Gunman and Hogan's Alley, actually. Makes sense since all three games used the NES Zapper, which I guess makes Duck Hunt Dog the obligatory "retro Nintendo peripheral" rep for this game, like ROB and G&W.
Ah, well I see the reasoning behind the character, but it still doesn't sit well with me.
I don't know what's with you man, he seems pretty sweet to me. It's like they're using him as a Nintendo version of PacMan. Oh well, opinions and all of that

@Sportoise: I think we agree that he seems to be Nintendo version of PacMan lol. It's weird, I love Duck Hunt, and Duck Hunt Dog is a big reason for that, but seeing him in Brawl as a playable character just irks me. He just seems like an assist trophy, and if his moves borrow from other NES games, why not just make them assist trophies?

Everyone else seems to call him that (it's like an unofficial nickname), but seeing as the game calls him
