Rip Project M, you've been my hole to fill before Smash 4 was out.
something about this seems fishy, but oh well.

thanks for the ride, project m. i had lots of fun casually playing the game with my cousin.
Guys, it's still available. They're just declaring it as *complete*. You're all acting like you'll never be able to play it again.
Plus two dev versions got leaked lol knuckles is pretty damn fun

Maybe if talented fans can come together, though, they can start with making a "true 3.61" build by addressing certain issues pertaining to characters (e.g. much-needed fixes like Link's grab, any outstanding balancing changes, etc; some of these changes already exist in the "Halloween 3.61" leak). Knuckles/Lyn/Isaac do seem to have a chance to be refined, but I feel that if they were to be tackled, they should be tackled last; it would be nice to have a focused effort to refine 3.6 as much as possible first.
I think most people are upset because the leaks already happened and we all wanted Lyn/Knux/Isaac, not to mention the sweet as hell costumes the PM team has been giving us, and the awesome stages. People got excited about things that weren't delivered (but honestly were just leaked anyway, and weren't promised, so whatever).
I never got to try Project M due to being in a PAL region but it is sad to hear they've had to stop, I wonder if Nintendo have anything to do with it?
I don't really think Nintendo got involved. They've known about P:M for quite some time, and would have shut it down sooner if they were that bothered by it (although they will ban you from Miiverse for talking about it, so I guess they care a little bit).
A lot of tourneys aren't going to be showing it now though so wouldn't surprise me if they had a hand in it.
Smash Broadcast is coming December 15th. Git hyep.
I have the lowest expectations for this. The only thing I'm excited for is that it will be the last one. The nightmare is finally over.

So go ahead Sakurai, give me Shrek, give me Naruto. I don't care. Fuck me.
ok koopaul we get it you hate smash 4

I actually wouldn't mind Shrek being in Smash 4.

And maybe Sakurai can add Shadow the Hedgehog too as a playable character even though he's also an assist trophy.

Then I'll finally have that Shrek x Shadow duo in Smash that I always dreamed about. Shreksual Healing
I don't hate Smash 4. I hate all these directs. This constant teasing of something good, only to be baffled and upset again and again.

If there was no DLC, I would've been over it by now. But the DLC continues this annoying trend of being disappointed and angry.

In a way, I wish there was no character DLC. I would have gotten used to that shitty roster. That Ballot gave me some hope, only for it to be shattered. This is the game that keeps on giving... me a headache.
I'm honestly going to say I'm having the complete opposite reaction ol' Koopaul is having with this DLC. It's actually improving the roster considerably in my eyes. Ryu's always been a character I wanted, figured there was no hope for, and I got him! Cloud too, but that was mostly during the Brawl days when I was a saucy teen- nowadays I would've never thought he'd even be a possibility.

I am annoyed that Roy is back, but he's fun enough to play. Lucas, I felt, shouldn't have been cut from the beginning but I understand why I guess. Mewtwo? Holy shit I wanted Mewtwo back since day one (why does Mewtwo suck Sakurai why do you keep making him shitty) and he was a top choice.

It'd have to be something COMPLETELY dumb for me to hate the last few members of the DLC crew. And even then, I wasn't exactly huge on characters like Bowser Jr., Pac-Man, or Robin joining the cast, but those three really grew on me when I saw them.
My biggest problem with the DLC roster is that I feel $4 to be a bit much for a single character for a single system (that should be like how much it costs to buy one for both systems), doubly so when you're forced to pay extra like with Ryu and most likely Cloud due to having stages.

EDIT: hahaha oh wow it's amazing what suddenly becomes ok when nintendo does it
