Nightmare Wizard in SSB4 just made my morning.

I played the living shit out of Nightmare in Dream Land when I was a kid, and Nightmare Wizard has always been my favorite Kirby villain.

...Well, second favorite. Dark Matter would have to be my #1 pick.

The Digital size for smash bros 3ds was talked about today its a whooping 2.1 GB game around 17,300 blocks of memory.

Good thing I just ordered a 32gb card specifically for 3DS games.

Hmm ... just a random observation ...

We know that the 3DS and Wii U versions have different rosters of Assist Trophies. And I don't know how many have noticed, but so far all of the boss-type ATs that have been revealed have been for the Wii U.

So this might seem like a huge jump in logic, but it has me wondering ... is it possible that the boss characters appearing as Assist Trophies could also double as actual bosses you can battle in some sort of mode exclusive to the Wii U version?

One thing I was thinking was that Assist Trophies were in some way fightable, as Sakurai mentioned in the April Direct that they factor somehow into All Star mode. Of course, they could easily just randomly appear in that mode without being able to be killed, so who knows.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that comment!

Well now you're REALLY getting my hopes up for fightable bosses.

What do you guys think of this guy possibly being in smash bros



unfortunately he is really obscure and came from Shigeru Miyamotos most unsuccessful game Mole Mania

i could see a really good battle potential with him as well since he can dig and throw bowling balls/cabbage

plus if they used the game boy stage and mole mania appeared than hazards from that game could appear on the stage.

I say hell yes to that idea. Also, Miyamoto reportedly tried getting representation from that game into Brawl, but nothing ever came of it.

Maybe things will be different this time around.

fantastic assist trophy reveal today! Nightmare is perfect for an Assist Trophy, and it's always nice to see old characters from sprited games with 3D Models!

That being said...

Is the Nightmare Wizard actually a 3D model? It looks almost like a drawing to me, but I can't tell when it's not in motion. Might just be an effect from him getting transparent in the background.

I was pretty perplexed by it at first, but yeah it's 3D. You can tell where the cape crosses through the platform.
