I just want DK, Diddy and Bowser to have a voice with actual emotion. You can't even tell, when you hear their grunts, if they are hurting someone or the one's being hurt. They just sound so strange.
Lucario is voiced by Goku

I wonder what the trade off is for that move. Range and power most likely, as well as the fact the tome probably runs out easily.
Hmm ... speaking of running out easy ... I wonder if all your tomes and sword are reset whenever you lose a stock.

Also, in today's update Sakurai acknowledges how Smash sometimes influences the original franchises.
Indeed. It's one of the reasons I'm so serious about who gets represented. I know the impact this game can have.
gee robins going to be fun; has it been said if each tome will have the same number of 'charges'? Because this is going to be interestttting.

I'm not sure it's been shown yet but I feel like with an attack like that, the whole attack would have to be slow: startup, execution, and wind-down have to be like molasses to consider it balanced...or, so it fits in with the schematics of Smash, at least a gapingly huge wind-down (imagine like missing with any of Ike's smashes or specials. THAT huge of a wind-down where you're exposed for awhile)
I'd imagine it working like a character's grab and then you mash A; it looks like it's within grapple range anyway and the enemy has to be not far from where the tome is shining in the image though anyway - and once it hits it begins inflicting damage with slow, multiple hits while simultaneously healing you - so I can't complain too hard.

Though I think in actual FE it has a really showy animation and it just sucks damage out of the enemy in one go

Also the attack doing more damage from behind is a nice touch - it's vampirey as heck
I actually like the idea of Robin's equipment NOT regenerating with a stock lost. If Robin had superior killing power with full equipment, it could be imbalanced to give him the ability to instantly restock by sacrificing a life.

Granted, this all depends on Robin's actual power with a full set of tomes and his Levin sword.

As for Nosferatu, it likely has a slow startup or ending, and on top of that probably doesn't do THAT much damage, perhaps with the behind attack being an exception.
by's recovering health isn't THAT broken. Project M's Ivysaur can recover its health though pummeling, synthesis (its new neutral b), and sweet spotting certain Smash Attacks. It's not AS broken as you might think.

(though Ivysaur was broken as heck during 2.6 because it had WAY to many good techniques. I'm pretty sure it was nerfed hard in 3.0 thank christ.)
I wasn't serious about the "robin op, nerf plz" post. I have a feeling that it will likely be a very skillful attack, I just felt like having some fun is all.
Jeez look at the size of Pit's feet in comparison to Robin's. Pit, you are a freakish monstrosity.
Though...
originally Robin and Lucina had no feet
so uh...
SO I completed my wishlist of costumes. The first of each set is stuff I'd actually expect to be viable given what we've seen. The others... just mindless pandering to my interests in their respective series. xD
