They did make a legit Young Link over Toon Link Mod. Even though his legs look a bit wonky, it was still pretty great since it doesn't modify Toon Link's moveset.

Can we see it in action?

Also, I've seen people hack tons of characters into Brawl, but I have yet to see Goroh.

My favorite part is that for some reason his profile portrait to Heihachi and they didn't bother to change it for Samurai Goroh. Rofl

Sadly I couldn't find any videos of this version on Youtube, so all I could do was record an animation from Brawlbox...

You can also download it here so you don't have to be stuck with the weird hybrid in Melee Remastered.
I tried that Melee TL model out, but I don't like it since his feet are below the floor in-game.
Seing Goroh, although his model is extremely fucked up and slapped over Falcon, made me realize just how hyped I'd be for him or another F-Zero character to finally be in Smash.

Fuck.
A lot of people say that Black Shadow should be given Ganondorf's current moveset and give Ganon a completely unique one.

It would make sense and be a lot more consistent. But I love my Falcondorf.
This type of complaint is kinda retarded though

Like, think about it for a sec. Even though Ganondorf's a slower and stronger Captain Falcon in his essence, you shouldn't just change characters like that:

1- Even though they aren't related, that's how Ganon first came to be. Slight edits can be done but entire move swaps are too much a difference;
2- There are people who main and enjoy Ganon like this. People will not like if they swap movesets even if it seems "more accurate". In other words, that would be like, getting Ken, make him a charge character and transfer his attack types to M. Bison. This would put off many people who like Ken and learned to fight with his tactics;
3- Just because they're from the same franchise, I doubt Black Shadow would have similar fighting scheme as Captain Falcon. Sure, you can argue that Ganon shouldn't even have these powers to start with; but just because Black Shadow is from the same franchise as CF, it doesn't need to be like that. Honestly I'd prefer Black Shadow as another entirely different character.
"Shouldn't have these powers to start with" always gets me. People forget that when he made his first appearance in Melee, the ONLY version of him that existed at the time was from Ocarina of Time; a game in which he relied completely on dark magic and intimidation and NEVER ONCE held a single weapon (until he transformed into Ganon of course).

Not to mention one of the official artwork pieces from OoT is literally of Ganny Falcon-Punching the shit out of Link:

His clone moveset made perfect sense at the time. We had no reason to believe he was any sort of adept swordsman. The only things we knew about him were "Darkness" and "Power", two concepts that the Falcondorf identity covered perfectly.

Sure, maybe if they had waited until Brawl to include him things would be different, but I disagree with the notion that his moveset was inappropriate for him in Melee.
/\ yes, this

also i believe that now, all of ganon's moves are different enough. every attack of his transmit the idea of 'power'
The only reason I would want Ganondorf changed is because of the potential a new iteration of the character could bring for gameplay. I can't think of another character that could pull off the dual-weilding, power-based, villainous magician the way Ganondorf could (or... or at all...)

But I mean, if he doesn't get changed, that isn't a problem for me either. Ganondorf is pretty boss no matter how you spin him.

I'd probably prefer a Blue Pig Ganon (simply called "Ganon") character with the trident and everything before Ganondorf got any changes, really. Big blue pig monster, roughly the size of Bowser, with his crimson cape and magic energy balls and shiz.

Edit: An Aghanim alt would be cool though.
GOD YES that's the version of Ganon I've always wanted to see in the game. Not as a replacement to Ganondorf mind you, but as another playable character. He's got so much unique material they could work with it's practically embarrassing that they haven't considered it.

Also as a side note, the Zelda series didn't get a single new character in this iteration, while Mario got two, Pokemon got two (kind of), as did Fire Emblem and even Kid Icarus; the last one not even being one of Nintendo's biggest franchises. You can't tell me that Zelda, Nintendo's biggest and best selling franchise after Mario, does not deserve the same treatment.

Pig Ganon or Tetra. Just give us one already.
Or both, I will so gladly take both.

(I meant Ganon as an additional character as well, sorry if that wasn't clear. Link - Zelda - Sheik - Toon Link - Ganondorf - Ganon, all distinct characters in this hadcanon).

When Sm4sh was early in development I was hoping the Ghost Zelda from Spirit Tracks would show up possessing some kind of Phantom armor which was an amalgamized version of the different Phantoms from that game. Zelda's Phantom attack kind of dashed that hope, but whateverrr..

Tingle would be fine too, although I'd almost rather he represented his own thing (like Wario) with a Rupee icon.

But yeah, Ganon and Tetra should have happened/shouldbeDLC
I personally would love Tingle, but I think his inclusion above other characters would honestly piss a lot of people off, which is the one thing that keeps me from actually wishing for him. Nobody wants a "joke" character over their favorite potential "awesome" characters.

Honestly the same way I feel about Bandana Dee. As completely stoked as I would be to see him actually make it into the game, I think most people still only see him as a glorified common-fodder-enemy and would be pissed off if he took priority over other candidates. Nobody wants to see a GOOMBA take a roster spot in Smash.
