I don't know about the latter, she looked she shared a lot of Marth's moves. The side and Up B looked the same, and her most of her aerials looked the same or similar

The same was true for Roy.

There's also the picture of her taking off the mask that she has in the game. ...Marth doesn't have that.

I think it's safe to say that Lucina is her own character.

She pretty much is.
I know I was in the "no more blue-haired swordsmen" club but we finally got female FE (s) and spellcaster FE so I was pretty hype anyway

Lucina doesn't even get a big newcomer block on the site though. I think that seems like it indicates some clonage

Oh, I took it as he meant that she was incredibly distinct from Marth, move set wise. Whoops. It looks to me like she's a clone, considering the fact she has the same B moves as Marth (two of her pictures on the site look like it shows a Shield Breaker and Counter) and several of her other moves look the same/similar. I don't mind the 4 FE characters, but I think it'd kind of bullshit if 2 of those 4 were almost identical. (Even worse if they give her the Roy treatment, to where one of the two is completely outclassed by not only their counterpart, but almost everyone else in the game)
Even if she has similar moves(which makes sense) she looks like she has a different feel to her combat compared to Marth.

I'm fairly certain that's just because the artwork and reveal trailer are on Robin's page.

You mean the same moves. And you can't really comment on if her combat has a different feel on it considering the most we've been exposed to is a promotional video. This seems like a Melee style clone, to where the moves are pretty much the same. I fear that the difference between her and Marth are going to be like Falco and Fox in Melee. Everything's the same except for the play style, and to me that's just a waste of a spot
You're basing everything you're saying on what we have to go with, which you said I can't really comment on since all we were exposed to was a promotional video, but apparently makes your comments more valid than mine, okay then.
Play styles are what makes a character, even with similar(yes I'm going to keep using similar because you DON'T know her move set yet, and even if a few are the same, that doesn't mean the entire move set will be) move sets.

Except what I'm going off of you can base of a promotional video. You're talking about something that you actually have to play the character to state as fact. That's what makes my comments valid. I can say this shit is a clone because the majority of her attacks are the same because you can obviously see this in the video and pictures on her page. She has the Dolphin Slash. She has the Shield Breaker. She has the Dancing Side B. Her nair looks the same. Her uair looks the same. The majority of her moves are basically the same as Marth's. However you can't tell how her play style is going to be from a promotional video that's supposed to make her look good. If that was true, then Sonic would have been a combo fiend in Brawl because he was sure pulling out some combos in his video years ago.
Rotted, don't text the cell.
Captain Falcon is fucking hot, no homo.
You can tell if play style will be different from the animations that were displayed in the gameplay that was shown with her. You named four moves, and her character portrayed herself as Marth in Awakening for awhile, I wonder why they have moves that are very similar? From the teeny, tiny amount of gameplay shown, I thought that it looked like that she had a different feel from Marth. I don't really get why I can't infer things like that.
