Speaking of Delfino Plaza, Are they going to put the Grand Pianta Statue in the background?

You're coming to the wrong place if you believe that community members, who most likely do not work for nintendo or namco have answers for these kinds of questions.

Personally, I wish that Sakurai retracts what he said about both games having the same roster and adds more characters to the Wii-U version. Don't get me wrong, I like the 3DS version as it's own entity but there could still be alot more done on a home console.

He initially said pac man wasn't going to be in, but he got in anyways. I think that there's a glimmer of hope that makes me believe the guys at nintendo, sora LTD and namco bandai will expand the roster for it.
I just did my first online match.
It was for fun team. It was me as Ness, and 3 Ikes...
My partner didn't really move at all. He occasionally used his neutral special and dash attack, but overall stood completely still.
We still managed to win, so that was nice, but the lag was insane Shocked

Overall it was fun~
Sakurai merely said that Namco characters were not going to receive priority due to Namco working on the game. He never said anything about any Pac-Man or any other Namco characters not being included. In fact it was stated that Pac-Man was even considered for Brawl. No lies or take-backs have been had.

I don't think they would add any more characters even if they could simply because they've pushed the detail about both versions having the same roster so hard. They've made a promise that they can't possible go back on now.

Then again, there are rumors about linking the Wii U version with the 3DS version, which may transfer otherwise Wii U exclusive characters into the 3DS version. That way, everyone who wants the full roster has to get the Wii U version; that is, of course, unless a patch comes up months later that gives those characters straight away.

Market wise, that'd be the best option, as that would generate so much hype for the Wii U version (being on a console that is pretty much lacking in sales), specially considering that this would be the best possible chance at including massively requested characters that were otherwise ignored in the 3DS version.

You know who I'm talking about...

There was a recent interview where he states that he really wanted one of the third-party reps. to be from Namco, since they were doing so much work on the game. So there definitely has been some contradiction on Sakurai's part as to just how much priority Namco characters were getting, and I think that was mainly about throwing people off until the big reveal.

Bayonetta? The Wonderful 101?

(I know the former has no chance of making it in due to the Wii U version being rated E10+ as well as the 3DS ver., and due to Kamiya getting angry at people for constantly requesting her, but I can dream, can't I?)
New stage was leaked. Look at the right picture.

It's the Great Cave of Offense. The Donkey Kong community is pretty pissed... again. Kirby getting a minecart stage before Donkey Kong? Is Donkey Kong getting ANYTHING?
Miles better than a certain 3DS stage for Kirby. It's also really nice seeing sprited game environments getting rendered in 3D.

Though I'm sure we'll finally see a Donkey Kong stage sooner or later. Hopefully it's not just Rumble Falls ported over from Brawl.
Ugh... At this rate that's exactly what it might be.

Welp Mother lost Lucas and Star Fox lost Wolf. In Smash 5 well get newcomers Magnus and Medusa while losing Diddy Kong and Falco.
More rumors about the Wii U version are beginning to pop up, this time with detailed new character trailer descriptions.

Dude, quit overreacting to things as small as this.  You're always freaking out as if Sakurai has some bizarre rancor-fueled vendetta against the DK series and only the DK series whenever something new from that series isn't shown.

At least wait 'til they've shown everything about the Wii U version before you and the rest of the DK fandom go apeshit like this. Just chill.
Nah. He doesn't have a vendetta. He just doesn't give a shit.

Too busy adding more Kid Icarus stuff.

As much as I would love this leak to be real, this line right here hurts its credibility really badly. "Bandana Dee" is a fan-given title, nowhere in any Kirby game is he ever referred to with the word "Bandana" anywhere in his name. Officially he is simply named "Waddle Dee", which is the only name that has ever been officially applied to him.

Granted, this person did say they were going from memory so if they're telling the truth they could have just misremembered what they read. "Waddle Dee waddles into battle" seems rather awkwardly redundant, though.

If this leak is true, the "Kirby-sized levitating blue creature with horns" sounds like it could easily be Magolor. Mistaking the points on his hat for horns would be rather easy if he was partially silhouetted. The four headed creature is clearly Landia, which supports the Magolor theory. Interesting that they would go so far as to give him a voice ... I wonder what he sounds like.
What leak says this?

Actually, as of Triple Deluxe, Bandana Dee (or at least, Bandana Waddle Dee) is now his official name. They openly refer to him as such on the official site, and when you first meet him in-game.
