Heart Heart Heart Heart Heart

though, not to sound like Koopaul, the Donkey Kong franchise wasn't as lucky when it came to Song Selection. About like 7 songs are DK Jungle Swing remixes. SEVEN VERSIONS OF THE SAME SONG!!!!

To be fair, that's not the entire list.  Isn't the Wii U version gonna have 400 tracks or so?
Over 420 tracks. The default track list is already pretty ballin', though I understand the dismay for DK fans.
Yeah DK fans got a cruddy end of the deal this time. But so did the Mother fanchise after losing a character (although they did get a new Assist Trophy and an amazing stage) Star Fox also lost a character and only gained a stage.

We'll see if DLC can fix all these problems.
Music wise I'm upset that Winter's theme isn't actually Winter's theme. Do we really need Snowman twice?
This would have been better: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1l6bsqkYDFJ
(I know snowman plays during Winters, but this is more memorable in my opinion)
And Twoson. It's blasphemy not to have included it Very Sad

But we do have Onett's theme, so that's nice Smile

Also, I love that In The Final and New Leaf's 7pm theme are in. I used to play at 7 just to hear that music, it was always my favorite.

[insert "420 BLAZE IT" joke here]

My favorite song is The Super Mario world medley.

It's so Banjo-Kazooie.

Pure awesomeness. I wanted this to happen for a long time now.

No, that's definitely the first thing I thought of. Bits of the song seem to be intentionally that way even.

I have no flippin' clue what game this is from but this song really stuck out to me. It seems like something that's going to be awesome to fight to:

This song however caught my attention for completely different reasons:

My goodness those are actual woodwind instruments, not just a computer emulating the instrument sound. If you have good ears (and having taken a band class helps) you can hear all the little flaws and organic intricacies that you get as result of blowing over a reed which you don't really get from computer produced music. What an interesting song choice to put this much dedication into.
That song's from Baten Kaitos, Jerm. A Gamecube RPG made by the same folks behind Xenoblade.
Oh really. I actually have that game but I never finished it. It's been a while since I've played it. And I was thinking that song seemed appropriate for the Xenoblade stage, too.

Speaking of Xenoblade, I actually found a copy recently and have been slowly playing it. I'm not very far into it but I'm enjoying it so far. So I guess Smash Bros. as an advertising gimmick is still effective ...
