Super Mac was a thing that was part of the Wii game's multiplayer.
Wasn't it called Giga Mac?
Eh, I don't remember the semantics... Either way, it does exist already.

Also I love that the first person they show him fighting is Dedede, as they both traditionally have a boxing ring theme going on.

I have a sneaking suspicion that they might have intended it as his stage from the beginning, but they wanted to use it for various promos, so...

Or it would also be cool if it was sort of like a Toon Link effect where the stage changes. In fact, I hope other stages have features like that.
Little Mac looks like he would be a lot of fun to play as, but for some reason, he gives off that vibe of an overpowered character to me (the fact that he is hard to hit and has an ability to seemingly KO other fighters with little difficulty does not help it).

I feel sorry for what happened to Sandbag, though.
Eh, I'm not sure it's fair to say he's overpowered just yet. There's a lot of stuff to consider that's not really divulged by the trailer, such as how fast the KO meter fills, what FILLS it, how it actually changes any damage of any attacks, etc. There's also not a lot showing how far he gets thrown when damaged, but one thing seems clear and that's that his aerial recovery isn't as good as some other characters, though based on what appeared to be a side special partway through the trailer, he might have decent horizontal aerial recovery.

Also consider that when doing a reveal for a character they want to make them look GOOD. No sense making a character look crappy to hype people up, unless it was some sort of joke character.
Though, at the same time, it looks like he has little to no aerial ability... So I think it should be alright. Plus, we don't know how the bar works yet.
Rewatching the trailer again, it seems like the Power meter might fill up reasonably fast, but what isn't clear is whether you have to charge it for every major move he does, nor how much damage it does when it isn't fully charged. Plus its a little bit easier for players to know when you've got a fully charged attack, the flashing red draws attention to the fact.

When he misses hitting the Trainer I think Doc says "You ain't no air fighter, Mac!", which is pretty much outright saying his air game is limited compared to his ground game. Pretty appropriate for a boxer, I think, not a whole lot of aerial combat there.

Actually, I just read the Miiverse post from Sakurai, and it says that when the meter is full his special move becomes a One Hit KO. That is pretty powerful sounding. Wonder if there is a catch to that.
I can see him being a mix of captain falcon and a rhino.
Captain Rambi.
It definitely sounds powerful, but it could just be the name of the attack. I highly doubt it is always a OHKO.
When I saw this trailer I had an uncontainable amount of hype. Both of my character predictions came true, Megaman and Little Mac.

AND IF ALL MY PREDICTIONS MAKE THINGS REALLY HAPPEN... gaaaaaaasp--
--Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, Ridley, and Ridley please.
This makes my want for a King Hippo Assist Trophy much more possible... Simon Belmont and we got Captain N up in here!

Sakurai: Fuck you, it's Little Mac bitches!

I like this reveal better than any Kong.
I'm glad that Lil' Mac is in and all.

But I'm still waiting for them to confirm Yoshi and Mewtwo though. I mean what the fuck?
