After today's update, it's really hard for me to say that Sakurai doesn't know about the "Ridley's too big" meme.

I just don't know what the hell he's trying to get at.

I assumed it was a reference to the fact that Rosalina is actually really tall. I remember them mentioning it in the invitational when they noticed how she unexpectedly dwarfed many of the characters.

I guess people REALLY want Ridley huh... I can't see this as Ridley related in any way either

Really? I thought one of her deals was the fact she's like 7 feet tall. I thought that's why she races I'm the heavy karts in Mario Kart (because she's too tall for the medium ones)

In all seriousness though, it looks like Palutena is the same height. So maybe it's just a goddess thing. (I mean, Rosalina has never been specifically referred to as a goddess, but she pretty much is one).

This update is a bit disappointing because it implies they aren't going to be putting in the effort of making actual alternate costumes for everyone.

I mean I guess we should have been expecting that anyways but still ...
