Besides rereleasing the games on the 3DS shop, there hasn't been much for the gassy plumber to do outside of his day job as a game developer.

This might be unlikely, but if I ever get my mitts on a Wario Land game for the 3DS, I would simply die and go to Heaven! For now, though, getting a chance to replay Wario Land 3 on the 3DS is always something special.
The Wario Land Shake It game sold incredibly poor, so I wonder if that's why Wario hasn't been up to adventuring lately.
Well, it was subpar for a Wario game.
I thought it was pretty awesome, myself. I'm glad I picked it up.
Where's mah goshdarned Wario Land 5, Nintendo?

That would be Shake. I think Nintendo is no longer into their classic system of naming games with numbers, at least not in the traditional sense. I mean, the closest we have is the NSMB series and even then they named the 3rd game in the series "NSMB2".
Well for whatever reason we got Mario Kart 7 and now Mario kart 8

This is because "New Super Mario Bros." and "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" are considered distinct franchises by Nintendo.
New projectile weapon based on Steel Diver (3DS). It shoots torpedoes!

That looks pretty cool actually, you know what i always wanted to see in smash bros as a usable item? The Ultra Hand.
They seem to be covering all sorts of series in pretty zany ways. That's a good thing.

Possible non-specific release date.
I'd be wary about info like that so soon. Some gaming websites have listed specific dates as early as April, but they are no doubt simply placeholders, and I'm not even sure if any of them HAVE a definitive date listed anymore. Even when we get an official release date, be prepared to see the date pushed back. I couldn't tell you how devastated I was when Brawl's delay was announced.

Twice.
Fortunately, we now have Project M 3.0 to tide us over.
