Ain't that a fancy ass stage? I've been dying to see a Rainbow Road stage!

Now Sakurai, where's our Bowser Castle stage~?

Stage Stage Stage STAGE STAGE STAGE

EDIT: Looks like Starfy has been disconfirmed. Never really saw him all that likely myself.
well Starfy has been confirmerd to be an AT again... Merry Christmas losers.

Yeah I had a feeling. Luma killed Starfy's chances at being playable. I have many reasons to dislike Rosalina's inclusion now.
when i saw today's update this morning i just laughed

merry christmas starfy

you're not going to be playable
He missed a golden opportunity to have Starfy be at the top of a tree.
Bowser's Castle is a stage I've wanted since the beginning. I hope they finally use it.
Also, Starfy. Sigh. I'm glad he's just a trophy again.
Well I was pretty sure most assist wouldn't be made playable characters. So do you think any will get a slot now? I wouldn't mind if they kept them assists, would allow for other possibilities.
I still think that Little Mac will make it.

Undoubtedly.
I really like Starfy, and I would love to see him playable, but despite that I can understand why he wouldn't be a logical choice; it'd simply be way too difficult to turn him into an effective fighter. He only really has one ability and he's really only effective underwater. Coming up with a moveset alone would be a huge stretch, and then on top of that he doesn't really have any reach at all.

My biggest disappointment in his roster exclusion however is the chance to have a Starfy-themed stage. I've always wanted a Smash Bros. stage that takes place under the sea. Plus it's like the one environment they haven't really used yet.
what about the Electroplankton stage
That's supposed to be under water? The water's at the bottom of the stage.

Either way it's not the kind of undersea environment I'm talking about.
Starfy, why did you even come?
A Starfy stage is not out of the question, just because Starfy is an AT and not playable. Brawl didn't have Villager, but did have Smashville.

I assume it would be such a stretch, his attacks would be ranged!

I'll let myself out now.
On a more serious note about Starfy's move pool, if he were to be a full-fledge playable character, why not have him use abilities based on some of the gimmicks Starfy used to traverse certain areas? If you looked into all the Starfy games so far, he uses things like a hot air balloon and Bunson's transformation skills to allow him to progress through the game.

I'm not saying that he has to be a playable character, but if it has to come to that, at least the team behind the new Smash Bros. game has a little more to work with.
