Shy Guy - I would play him to death if he'd be playable. I can imagine all sorts of Shy Guy subspecies and gadgets involved in his moveset. Final Smash: Shy Squad!
Baby Mario - His moveset includes crying and sit inside a bubble. That's it. I doubt he can even walk.
Raphael the Raven - Electro ball stomp and anger issues. Final Smash: Something moon related.
Baby Bowser - Ha ha ha! Never gonna happen. Bowser Jr. is likely to take the stage as a Mario-series character, with maybe a Baby Bowser costume. If his Final Smash is Big Bad Baby Bowser, I'll shit bricks.
But what they all have in common are that it's very unlikely for them to be added to the roster. I do think a Poochie AT is not out of the question.
You're forgetting Kamek.

Kamek would most likely be a boss, along with Kammy.
Kamek hangs in the twilight zone between the Mario franchise (as Magikoopa) and Yoshi franchise. But he'd make sense as Yoshi character #2. Final Smash: Giant Kamek, because Giant is the answer to everything, despite the numerous failures.
Maybe Kamek and Kammy as a tag-team like Ice Climbers?

I can't be the only one, right???
Parasol Waddle Dees appear in Smash Run though. Not saying that Bandana Waddle Dee isn't impossible, but they ARE still in the game as minor enemies.
I'm going to be honest here, but if there are Waddle Dees in this game in one form or another, would that make any difference to Bandana Waddle Dee's chances of being playable? If you take a look at all the Kirby games he has appeared in (especially Return to Dream Land), he co-existed with his generic brethren and nobody said anything about it.
If Bandana Waddle Dee was playable, would they actually call him Bandana Waddle Dee, or would they just call him Waddle Dee? I think it'd weird that they never bothered to actually name the character
Ness is pretty much confirmed look at these mother items

On the subject of Waddle Dee appearing as playable, he certainly has a better chance of appearing than Kamek. Not because I don't like him, but because Magikoopas that fly on brooms (pretty much Kamek's staple) appear in the Smash Run, so.... I think that would be kind of a dead giveaway that he's probably not playable.

Kind of disappointing too, he had some cool abilities in Mario and Luigi Dream Team.

Not only that, but Kamek is the lamest Mario villain ever. You know you suck when you get your ass handed to you by BABY BOWSER.

Don't know what he could do in Dream Team though, since I haven't played that yet.

His official name is simply "Waddle Dee". Confusing as hell, I know. "Bandana Dee" or any combination of the two are simply fan-given nicknames.
I don't think it's that bad. He's pretty much the Toad of the Kirby universe.

Also in response to Mystie, he has the ultimate power: Crossdressing.

The Toad thing is stupid too though. Like holy crap Nintendo, individual names exist for a reason
Y'know, if the 3DS version is being released in two or three months, that doesn't leave much time for them to reveal the rest of the roster. And we still have entire franchises that haven't been acknowledged yet.

Also every newcomer has been revealed during an event where they can be shown off in a little CGI movie. How many more opportunities for that are there going to be before release?
I agree, but they love to do it. Toad, Yoshi, Waddle Dee... even Meta Knight's crew are called the Meta-Knights (apparently they are hyphenated, the only distinction between them and Meta himself). But I find it passable, it's not a big deal breaker for me.

All this Toad talk started to make me wonder about Custom Move Sets and Peach.. I'd love moves where she throws Toad like a projectile or does something that electrocutes him or makes him explode. That would be hilarious to see.
