How can you be upset hover Greninja? Out of any pokemon he's the perfect addition. He has a unique moveset, and his design is totes badass.

Oh it's not that Kitsu, I just find it comical that I make a fun suggestion for a charter show will soon be Ninetedon exclusive and it be ones this huge discussion about handguns and how that's not okay in suer smash bros. Well I guess it's because Greninja doesn't have an impressive resume yet. For a new Pokemon they are promoting Gen 6, he never really had a movie dedicated to him. So what makes him more important than the other X & Y starters? Charizard had years of fanboyisms to solidify that he was the iconic starter of the first Gen. But with Greninja it's too soon.
I was a little upset to see Charizard stand on his own too. Never liked seeing Game Freak play favorites with the starters. They were supposed to be an equal choice right?

Let's face it, Charizard was the clear favoRite of gen 1, and Greneinja seems to be the most popular of gen 6(fortunately), and he definitely has a signature move as shown above.

Well, I apologize for drunk me for misreading that, but even then, why should he need a movie to justify his character. Did Link or zelda ever have a movie? Did Marth? I just find that a weak argument.
EDIT: Greninja is just more translatable into a unique character than the other two starters. Slow powerhouse(Chesnaut or whatever his stupid name was)? Have a few of those already. Mystic Projectile type(Fire Fox thang)? Already have a few of those(projectile based).
Greninja just works out, and happens to be the most radular.
Hm I guess. But like I said. I usually prefer a character to have a little more on their resume before they get in as a character.

I'm GLAD that Greninja got picked without a movie on his resume. Up until now, every pokemon that has been in Smash had gained their popularity from the anime show or movies. But Smash isn't about television, it's about the games. The fact that Greninja got picked due simply to his pure awesome is one of the greatest things about his inclusion.
