Too late.

Porn's okay though. We can keep that.
........WHY IS SHAQ FU 2 A THING?!?!?!
You know, it's kinda funny. I remember a time when Shaq Fu was considered to be one of the worst games of all time. I don't think it comes anywhere near the top nowadays. It's more mediocre than anything. That said, why would anyone think a sequel would be horrible?
I mean, just, Why? It was a dumb unsuccessful idea at first. But it does look promising now.
I stayed up till 5AM watching the entire Game Awards and not a single Nintendo announcement other than the obligatory Iwata tribute. I'm not happy.

My guess is that someone wanted to cash in on the game's notoriety. It's a bit late for that, though.

Speaking of which, I've been hearing things about Splatoon winning the "Shooter of the Year" and "Best Multiplayer" awards.

If that first one is true, then holy hell that's impressive.
I could see it winning the former because it was such a huge success when it came out this year, but...was it more successful than the others that also came out? Best multiplayer, however, doesn't sound accurate. After all, things like League of Legends have been consistently insanely massive and growing, and has way more of a player base than Splatoon. This isn't to say its multiplayer isn't good or anything, but there are way too many highly regarded competitors for it to just walk in and take that title just like that, lol. "Best X" is pretty arbitrary anyway. Singling just one title out in a huge ocean of titles is just an impossible ordeal. Should be in a Top # list or something, like Top 50 Multiplayer Games. If you're going to pick out some of the highest quality titles in a genre or category, the size has to be reasonable for it to be believable.
Did League come out this year though? Maybe that would have some bearing on it.

Could be. I missed a fraction, or didn't pay full attention, because I was drawing at the same time. I know it got Best Multiplayer and that it got a total of 2 awards.

But the title isn't called "Best Multiplayer of the Year," so it shouldn't matter.  All competition needs to be considered.

It's just like how silly it is that every single time a new movie comes out and it gets some popularity, it's advertised as "Number one movie in America," which is never true, lol. The sales figures of things like Avatar and Titanic would say otherwise.

It's pretty much implied in that it's part of the Game of the Year Awards.

because as soon as the next destiny expansion comes out, like the exact second, nintendo himself will have to mail the trophy to bungie because they are no longer worthy of the title
