Why not both? Heck, get the whole pantheon of characters they threw into Kingdom Hearts and classics versions too while we're at it.
So, um Riptor confirmed for KI? And she's badass?

I mean, I thought everyone would be talking about her and stuff, but...
...I've never played Killer Instinct and don't own Xone.
I just wonder if in a DLC Black Orchid will get to have her chest flashing fatality back. Heeheehee.

Double Dashers aren't an available vehicle type.

nope, game is literally perfect
Yeah I'm never getting over it.

yeah I was pretty bummed when I realized Diddy Kong's not in the game, Birdo and Bowser Jr. weren't in the game. Then I saw all seven Koopa Kids and I was at peace.

I'm a little sore about Diddy Kong as he was one of my favorite characters to use but I don't need Birdo and Bowser Jr. if I've got Wendy, and...well, the other six Koopa Kids.

RONHEE HRAUNG!!!!!!!!!!
EHEE-HOO

I was able to forgive the developers though, for giving Donkey Kong that amazing pose when tricking out that we saw in the game's trailers.

If Activision took their heads out of their asses and just LITERALLY MADE CRASH TEAM RACING HD with tighter controls and netplay, it'd be literally PERFECT with unlimited amounts of hype and the Benjamins would just fly out of the CEO's butthole. They'd never have to make another Call of Duty again.
8 has to be my favorite in the series next to DS. That game only has it beat with Mission Mode and the best iteration of Balloon Battle ever (though Double Dash's Battle Mode in general destroys all of the others).

Man, mascot racers are a dying art nowadays, just like 3D platformers. Those were everywhere during the PS2/Gamecube era.
And the N64/PS1 era too.
I blistered my thumb doing it, but I finally got eight fevers in Trophy Rush with Dr. Mario...
To anyone who has a 3DS and access to eShop, you should check out the recently ported Fairune. It was on smartphones only until just recently. Can someone tell me if it's free or not?

If you end up getting it, I have no doubt it's mostly a port, so if you get stuck, I've already finished the smartphone version here.

It's $2.99

How are you attacking? It looks like you just walk into the enemies.
You do. Combat isn't really the focus in this game, as much as the puzzle solving is.

It's based entirely on your level. Enemies at your level take 1 HP (but you kill them), one higher than you 2 HP (still kill them). Anything higher bounces you back and takes more HP away. All enemies give 1 XP, unless find a hidden booster. There are three hidden boosters in the game; Shield Boost (makes it so only the higher level monsters can hurt you; things at your level do zero damage), XP Boost (XP gained is always 2), and Rare Boost (boost the spawn chance of the 4 rare monsters in the game). Enemies that are of a lower level than you give no XP.
Hmmm, that makes me slightly less interested in trying it. I think I'll get it anyway though.
Sounds a lot like Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru, where combat is basically just "are you stronger than this enemy? Y/N". But doesn't look nearly as interesting.
I'm glad to see someone mention that game. Always wanted to see that game localized.

It's pretty much exactly like this game, except you don't have a battle scene.  It's just you beat the enemy and take damage or not, or you simply can't pass through them, take damage, and need to level up.  It's more puzzle and secret oriented.  I did personally wish the combat was more interesting myself, but the puzzles do lend themselves well.  They require you to really inspect the environment, and there's no handholding.
