The best Halloween game is obviously Pikmin 2, because nature is the real scare.
Are you sure it's not the best game for Halloween due to this guy?

I wonder why nobody has made a move for Capcom's property... there's some really pretty good stuff there for any console developer to have exclusive control of...

I don't know why but I used to get really excited over puzzle games. This game just doesn't look appealing to me for some reason. Like, I get it, "it's a niche title", "it's not everyone's cup of tea"...it's my cup of tea alright but something about it just seems incorrect. Like, just not right.

This game feels like it would have been a perfect game 20 years ago, and had it come out then I'd be tossing my money at Nintendo. Even 15 years ago on the N64 - oh, whatever, maybe even like 7 years ago on the DS. Had it come out on the DS, to show off what a powerhouse the system is and how ingenious their compression methods are, I'd have preordered this.

But in this age, the age of digital downloads, indie titles and smartphone games, I can't help but to feel like Nintendo should have stripped this game down, sold it for $30 and then charge for DLC (which, stripped down, would have been extremely plentiful). If it was marked down to be a budget title at launch, it'd do gangbusters. I know - it's going to launch at $40 - but that's not enough to make me budge. I'm serious and I'm not being a stickler here. They could totally do $30, get good sales as a budget title, and release like $30 total for DLC and totally recoup. :/

It probably has to do with Nintendo's "well, we can't release a shell of a game, ever!" but like, here, it's okay to hold back more than usual. Really. It's fine and I won't think any lesser of you, Nintendo. )':

It's pretty hard to become Ubisoft anyway.

Does their boardroom staff know that they're part of a company that's basically been surviving off of niche titles for like almost two decades, lol?

Darkstalkers projecting 4 MILLION?

also what's left for them to buy? the guy behind the good one they'd really want left years ago, and is currently making Definitely Not Megaman ):
