Rokkan you are usually a bro but I am siding with Metaru here.

That said I kind of have to admit
I-

I'm genuinely excited about this game
because the original sonic games are some of my most favouritest things ever and if this is anything like as good as them I might become less angst-ridden

and I'll bake you all some cookies or something

but if it sucks I'm pegging the lot of you sires
I'm not disagreeing with him, if the game does have the level design and feel I told on that post, it will already be a great game, no other elements like how the characters should be like and shit should matter like that, I'm just saying what I'd like, but really don't give a fuck whether those qualities are in or not, I'm just exposing opinions on how I like the characters better, I'm not saying that they should be like that to be a great game.

tl;dr it was just parallel discussion

Anyway I'm not very excited on it, but I'm hoping I'll have my mind blown and my ass handed off to SEGA because I wasn't hyped about it.
as i said ten or less pages ago, the best thing one can do is not hype anything about it. i'm almost sure it not going to have the pixel graphics we would like, and somehow it would turn into what that rocket knight remake was.
From what I've heard, this will be a PS360 exclusive, and there are no plans for a Wii port.
I'm assuming this means that the game will be in 2.5D, but the graphical detail will be to high for the Wii to handle.

Quote:Here's what people already know about the game: it centers on only Sonic, it's going to be 2D, it's in HD, and it'll be coming to Xbox Live and PSN. Here's what they don't know: it's Sonic the Hedgehog 4. At least, that's how it's considered internally at Sega -- whether it'll have some other name when it ships, we're not sure. But from its 2D gameplay to its focus on just the character we actually give a shit about, this is the Sonic game we've been waiting for since we moved on from the Sega Genesis. Let's just hope this doesn't all sound too good to be true -- the second we see a Weresonic or Sonic's fat purple friend we're calling bullshit on the whole thing.
At the moment, the title is "Project Needlemouse - Sonic 4: Episode 1"
Meaning that it'll probably have a DLC game expansion a la Sonic 3 becoming S3K.
holy shit a new twisted Metal DO WANT

twisted metal is pretty fucking awesome i love it
dunno about the PS2 twisted metal games, but the PS1 ones ROCKED ASS

(in topic though, I'm not raged nor hyped that the fact that Project Needlemouse might be called Sonic the Hedgehog 4, idk, I'm really not caring much about this)
Twisted metal on the PS1 is fucking awesome.

I played these other two whose names's i cant recall on the PS2 and it wasn't the same feeling. way too easy.

i hope that being able to play it online on the PS3 would give it a second life.(and while you're at it Bring Back Destruction Derby)

what'cha think
Cute, but honestly I don't give a fuck.

I want to know more about the locations of the levels, and what gimmicks they'll add.

3 was nice, but they didn't have very intuitive gimmicks. DAT FUCKING CYLINDER.
I'd prefer to see that design in project needle mouse, but I wouldn't really mind seeing the more modern design ether
Yeah, I seriously hope there are no Carnival Night cylinder scenarios in this game :I
