(04-20-2011, 07:21 PM)Mighty Jetters Wrote: [ -> ]I just wanna say Koopaul that Pikachu and Pachirisu didn't really have a reason for being Electric type but they were. Pika and Pachi were somewhat the same in the sense that they had "electric pouches" in their cheeks, so I don't see why there couldn't be an Electric type possum if it had a power plug for a tail. I'm not complaining just wanted to point that out.

Oh I see that was going to be the electric rodent eh? Well possums are actually marsupials, not rodents. Rodents include mice, rats, squirrels, porcupines, beavers, chipmunks and stuff. Rodents are usually quick nimble and hyperactive. This is a common trait of electric types. Possums are slow and pretend to die in order to survive predators. These sneaky techniques are more suited for a Dark type, especially since possums are nocturnal.

Oh, ok then, I'll redesign it as a chipmunk then? I still want to keep the power plug idea and chipmunks have thin-ish tails, don't they?
Maybe a pure Dark opossum with some electric qualities that evolves into a Dark/Electric type

Well thats just one Kangaroo. It's not like were making the fifth 'copy' of some pokemon. ( Totodile -> sandile, Zubat-> Wobat )

There are quite a few mice Pokemon too, so a quick, agile Fighting kangaroo wouldn't be a repeat of a large mother kangaroo.

My point exactly.

Yeah! Roger Jr. from Tekken!

I do think we should make a new kangaroo, or maybe make it a wallaby, who evolves into a kangaroo, and have gender differences. It could be a fighting and rock type (sine there is a type of wallaby called a rock wallaby) the boxing gloves could be rocks.

Muse Trio update

Aone
Type: Fight
Inspiration Pokémon

Her voice in song fills minds with fantasy. She sings to the mountains so a greater being might hear its echo.

Scelete
Type: Steel
Redo Pokémon

She viciously destroys art she deems unfinished. The artist is forced to repeat, which leads to improvement.

Paneme
Type: Ghost
Memory Pokémon

When hearing fresh poetry or song, she stores literal words in her hollow, paper-like body so it doesn't fade.

I tried to give them Pokédex entries that reflect both the Muse they represent as well as the Rock Paper Scissor hand. (Rock - mountain, scissors - destroy, paper - writing)

I think Scelete should be a guy since she looks like one. And Paneme needs a little expression, unless she's supposed to be grim-ish Wink

I think they're fantastic. Much better than the old ones. Big Grin

Why would one gender be a mirror, and the other be a painting? Remember beigna different gender doesn't mean you're an entirely different Pokemon... with the exception of Nidoran.
This is essentially the case with this one. It's the same pokemon but it has 2 different forms that is decided by its gender.

I don't see why Chaoxys' Pokemon couldn't be a new Nidoran.

But then the Male and Female would have to be different Pokemon, not just formes
(and Chaoxys, congratulations on 1000 posts!)

1) Your post is the 1111th and the year is 2011... O_o
2) Why couldn't it be a new nidoran
