not really sure, but I had it loosely based off of the ruffles on this guy

It's beautiful that within 2 days, we have manage to make 9 new additions!

To actually contribute something, I had the idea that we do something similar to the Feebas line. Like, maybe for cool, we could have a dorkish-looking Poké, then when it's cool contest stat is filled, it evolves into a badass Poké with a great Attack.
I've been meaning to upload a design for a while, but I haven't got round to it, so you may see it tomorrow
Wow look at all this! Even Devicho finally posted something!

Those Flamingos are great! They still don't have a Pokemon-ish vibe to them, but a few minor adjustments should fix that.
An idea for the generation's machine pokemon (Magnemite, Porygon, Rotom, Klink)

It's a solar cell, though I gave it a sort of nucleus like actual photosynthesizing cells. It has two forms, one during the day (Charge Forme) and one during the night (Discharge Forme).

Name: (Not Named)
Type: Steel/Electric
Ability: Chlorophyll
Known Moves: Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Iron Head, Thunderbolt

Yeah I get that they're like ruffles but why are they halfway up his neck? wouldn't it make more sense to put them around the base of where his neck connects to his body, like on his chest?

i like the 2nd stage desman. maybe the basic desman could have a dark blue belly to "prepare" it for the dark blue tufts.
baegal's female flamingo is great, mainly because it looks younger than wes'.
koopaul's right, though, they kinda look like dressed-up animals more than pokemon.
Pilpoli (Pillbug+Roli Poli (spelling?))
Woodlouse Pokémon
Type: Bug/Ground
They use cracks in wood and rock to shelter from predators and store food. When it senses danger, it instinctively curls up like a wheel and rolls away.

Roalouse (Cockroach+Louse)
Nuclear Armor Pokémon
Type: Bug/Ground
Its exoskeleton can withstand any level of radiation. It is therefore able to survive a nuclear war of any magnitude. Since its shell is flexible, Roalouse cannot be crushed.

Presenting the pillbug and roach Pokémon. They have the ability Immune to reflect their ability to survive radiation.
That's cool. I uploaded the designs of my Pokemon on to the computer but they didn't turn out right. I'll try again soon
We could use those bugs but remember that they aren't the new Caterpie/Weedle for this generation.

Only insects that go through a pupa stage can be considered those. We need two of those, so far we have had someone suggest a Mosquito, which works because it has a pupa stage.

EDIT: Also Devicho, (I don't know if she'll ever see this) your mistletoe Pokemon is cute but those huge bunny ears make it look like... a bunny. I want to use that idea someone suggested for a rabbit that changes based on the seasons. I don't want people to be confused about what this Pokemon is.
Did anyone even make a design for the seasonal rabbit? If not, why not keep the mistletoe bunny and change the seasonal thing to something else.

How about this. A seasonal bear. Each season not only changes how he looks, but his stats slightly. For example, his winter version would look asleep and have higher defense, but lower speed where as his summer version would be wide awake and have lower defense but high speed or something.
I have a couple of problems with the seasonal idea as a whole.

Firstly, Pokemon games have never really had seasons involved in the game, very possibly because the work involved in making all areas not only change weather, but also seasons (which would require an entire re-colour and re-shade of all areas, as well as extra code) is rather high.

Secondly, Pokemon days are always in real time. I would think seasons would have to be as well. If I catch the seasonal pokemon for it's high speed, shall we say, I don't want to be stuck with a slow-as-hell pokemon for 6 months. Even more so because it usually takes less than that to complete the game. No-one would really notice the change.

Black and White have seasons, and they rotate each month so you don't have to wait forever. Like right now, if playing B/W, it'd be autumn. Because January was spring and February was summer. April will be winter and the May will be spring again. The seasonal gimmick pokemon is a deer with antlers like tree branches, the l eaves turn brown and fall off, then grow back as his fur gets thicker and shaggier or thinner.
maybe we could do a saber thooth tiger.
we could have a rock type tiger cub called Saberpup
we could have the evovled form of the Saberpup.
a rock type tiger called Terratiger
you would give the tiger cub a saber fang and it would evovle into a saber thooth tiger when you traded it
the saber thooth tiger would be icr and rock because saber thooths lived in the ice age.
it would be called Terrathooth
How about a velicoraptor.
it would be a ground flying type because the movement of a velicoraptors arms when they are catching prey is like a birds when they fly
it also grew feathers.
the ground part would be because its a fossil
I'm assuming it's Rock type because it's a Siberian tiger and they live on or near mountains? But why pup if it's a cub?
