Well, there was a drawing here earlier but it seems to have been deleted
Ya, it was not very good at all, so I took it off. And @Ike, that sprite was very good. It is much better than the first one as the post is more like other pokemons.
Why thank you Smile I'll try and do Ninko tomorrow
It still could use some touch ups though. I feel there could be more of an outline on certain parts.
are we gonna shoot for a bw style, or dppt?
So is there anything wrong with my other designs? At least in terms of the birds and shrimp. If so I'd like to know so I can work on them, if they are good as is and people like them, I'd like to try spriting them.

Would you care reposting them so we can all see?

It's already been said that the bird's second form is a bit cluttered, although I honestly think thats mainly due to my bad choice of a pose. With his wings down I think it would look much better and be easier to read.
I for one like the bird designs, but the "shrimp" is a different story. It doesn't really look like a shrimp, and the first stage is too unrelated to the second stage IMO. What I recommend is too make it actually a shrimp, which would look cool.
That was intentional. I had originally had it with feelers and what not to make it much more shrimp like, but it just didn't look good, so I removed them and made him look a bit more like he was part shrimp and crab, which resulted in his current design to make his evolution make more sense.

Honestly, it's meant to be more of a cute pokemon and if I made it look more like a shrimp, it would lose them. I can try messing around with it but I'd rather not make him look more shrimp like.
The hummingbird I kind of always wanted a Bug Flying type.

"WAIT WHAT"

Let me explain guys. Types don't necessarily reflect the species of a Pokemon but more of their habits or habitats than their species. Sandshrew is certainly not made of dirt! But Sandshrew live in it and dig in it, therefor that is their type.

Let's take a look at Trapinch who is based off a bug... but isn't a bug type. Trapinch is pure ground and evolves into a Dragon type. Why is this? Take a look at this interesting read:
http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/On...and_Flygon

Back to Hummingbirds... They have a lot in common with flying insects. The way they flap their wing and fly backwards, and the fact that various species even evolved to look like bumble bees! this is only a suggestion but maybe the Hummingbird could be a Bug type because of its bug-like behavior.

Then again, Hummingbirds live their lives by the flower, so it could go either way.

Here's a better one

What should the Shiny colours be?

@Chaoxys: I like the shrimp/crab Pokemon and the Hummingbird
@Koopaul: I think the hummingbird should be Grass/Flying seeing as it has a flower on it
@( }: :It doesn't matter too much if the evolution looks different from it's prevo. Take Remoraid and Octillery, for example
@Ike, I think you just have to mess around with different colors and see what looks the best. Also, just don't make it the color of ninki, because then the shinies are not unique.

Also I just didn't like the crab/shrimp, If you guys like it, great, I'm just saying what I think.

Hokoot (Hocus+Koot/Coot)

It has trouble keeping its head straight because of its large and heavy brain. Using their psychic powers, they are able to reverse the flow of water.

Pokoot (Pocus+Koot/Coot)
Magician Pokémon

Evolves from Hokoot using a Water Stone.
Always eager to put on a show, this Pokémon performs elemental attacks as if they were tricks. As a defense mechanism, this Pokémon shoots white feathers from its sleeves.

Hokoot learns mainly Psychic moves, while Pokoot learns a variety of Fire, Electric and Ice moves.

Shiny colors: Black->Dark Blue ; Red -> Purple
Just posting to say I love the shrimp/crab volcano thing.
