Oh very nice. The arms and legs still need some work. The face looks a little too chunky too.

Here's my attempt at spriting the hosenose desman. Please say what you think.
We also haven't decided on the shiny colours for the desman. Maybe we could make the shiny colours red and white like the firetruck idea.

Now that I look at it I think the Desmans nose shouldn't be so chunky. It's not a problem with your sprite it's that concept art. Looking at it now it almost looks... phallic.

I agree. It took a long time to make the nose on the sprite and it still doesn't look quite right

I also say, maybe thin out the tail, it looks too much like a raccoon/red panda tail. Make it more rat-like, and i would change the color of it's nose, or make the very edge before it touches its face red or orange.

I still need an answer about which green is better or the original....

EDIT2: I got an idea for one fossil pokemon, how about a spinosaurus, it could be a rock/water(like the pre-historic sea turtle from b/w), or maybe even rock/ground

So Koopaul I would like to help out as well. I'll let you and the community come up for a name for this guy I made. I would really be greatful if he makes it in the pokedex...... btw where is the current dex and where are all these sprites going to (Link to game plz?)



Also For the Fire Starter Ram I have a (very rough version) of fan art that his second evolution could become.

There isn't a game ATM. I'm kinda planning on hacking a rom though when this gets a bit further in it's progress, but nothing ATM.

Novaking's drawing looks like an evolution of Toxicroak and I thought we weren't making evolutions from previous gens. It would be good if we could, though, because I have tons of ideas

I think that the top green is better, but that's just my opinion

Yes I did use his body as sort of a guide. This is only version one of him I plan on changing him more I just have to have a image to work with. You can't say he is a copy because that grass lizzard looks like he has the same body as a mix between charmander and totidile lol.

As a guide? It's just a recolor with an image for the lights and a mouth placed over it. Anyone can tell it looks like toxicroak. The ram's second evolution is yet another edit of the first ram with images on it.

Yes as a guide. Electrode is just a upside down version of voltorb but noone says he is a recolor..... I said the art is not final and I need suggestions and ideas to make him better that's why I posted him on here.

The ram is just some ideas thrown together to appear as an evolved form. I'm only wanting to help so lay off man you have all good reps do I don't get why your so offended at me throwing my creative side and ideas on things.

First of all its more important to have a good concept for a Pokemon instead of just making one. All Pokemon are based off of something but yours seems to be based off of nothing. It just looks like what other people have already said. We make are work from scratch I'm afraid. But before we do anything we must come up with a clever idea.

Enjoy helping someone who is illiterate and won't go far with this idea. My work's based off of other Pokemon and no concept can be better than actual Pokemon. Merry Christmas I'm out of here, good luck with being original when you are in fact copying them.

All of Koopaul's points are valid. And basing pokemon off pokemon is just a splice. How is that creative when you take random pictures and blend them together and call it a pokemon? Doesn't sound creative to me.
