As you said, this has been suggested multiple times, somewhere earlier in this thread even:

However, as Petie said, it simply won't work due to the size of some sections of the site. While it might only result in a 5mb file for Super Mario Bros. on the NES, it'd result in a 1.4gb file for the Smash Bros. Brawl page of The Models Resource. As such, the server cannot handle that much load for one individual user at any given time, as the process times out.

It's been discussed quite extensively but it's been decided that it just isn't going to happen.
For Custom sections, maybe we should change the section names to "Mario Customs," etc? That way single games with several customs don't sound bizarre when they get split off. For example, the a Final Fantasy section is getting a bit big, but we can't call a section "Final Fantasy 5 Series" because it's only one particular game from that series.

I agree, I've went and done so right now. Not to mention that a few sections were oddly-named, being listed as "Series" when there's only the one entry.
I have felt the same way about this and never thought to suggest that!

Cool!
How about adding Twitch to the social sites, if at all possible? A couple of people here have Twitch streams so it wouldn't go unused.
I'd been considering getting a Twitch account myself, but I don't really see it as a social site like Facebook or Twitter. While many people here host their own streams, I'm personally not really sure I can treat the service in a kind of official capacity with user streams.

It's something I'll look into in the future though.
I've brought this up before, but I figured I'd do it again since the PC section is getting pretty bloated.

How do we feel about splitting the PC section on TSR into PC games and Browser games?
I personally don't think it's really worth making such a distinction - The section isn't that much more bloated than others are. It only has 100 more than SNES and 150 more than NES.

If you could maybe run a rough count on how many browser games are in the section, we can then consider the possibility.
In regard of the Twitch, perhaps a dedicated thread for it can be created? This allows anyone that do streams may post their channel links and provide a description of what the stream is about (indie games, reviews, etc.)

Really don’t know how many people here do streams, but this can be a useful way for them to let people know about their channels.

Btw Puggsoy, you can put it in your signature. Check out http://streambadge.com/ for example.
Oh yeah, that's a good idea. Had to shrink Dilbert a bit, but it's quite nice because it shows whether I'm streaming or not.

Do these red names mean that those games haven't fully transitioned to new icons?

I also assume that those "No f" buttons mean to replace icons? Personally they look kinda tacky and weird but I guess it does make it easier to edit.

This red title's should be visible for the public so you know which games are not fully done yet
I suppose I could enable it for everyone but it looks messy and I really didn't want to display it to the world. Perhaps just logged in users?
Is it possible to increase the font size on the icons by a single point or something? After browsing for a couple minutes, my eyes get strained. I know some games have lengthy titles, but... yeah, my two cents

I guess the small text font was inherited from the old icons, but now that we have them generated via programming, we could even cut longer texts with an ellipsis, like most modern sites.
I'm pretty sure we experimented with the font size for a while before settling on what it is currently. Even a 1px increase throws off the spacing quite a bit (you can verify this yourself via inspect element). I'm not saying a change is completely off the table but it may be more effort than it's work given the way everything is laid out.
