I'll just get this out of the way so I don't forget it.

A dark skin!
I think there should be a DS section on TMR. I've already got a few DS models queued, and lots more that I'm going to rip soon, so I definitely think we should have a separate section for them.
Once they're up, we'll consider it. A new console is a big deal, and needs a decent share of games under it.
Having the whole search bar and banner follow users around the site (TSR is what I'm looking at) makes everything feel very claustrophobic... Maybe use just the top navigation bar?

What resolution do you have your monitor set to? There is plenty of room on any modern resolution and the fixed position header is actually disabled on anything below a certain size.

This, extremely. Having it take up so much space makes it feel like that itch you can't scratch and it's not pleasant to browse the site
I must admit, I'm on 1920x1200 and my screen is probably gigantic by comparison but that bar does take up A LOT of space.

I try to remove as many toolbars and such as possible from my browser and go with only the basic things I need and that's still 205 pixels of vertical resolution being used that isn't actually displaying content, not counting the taskbar.
The header alone is bigger than my toolbars combined.

People with smaller monitors (laptops in particular, especially 1366x768) and people with more menu bars and such in their browser will only have it that much worse.
I have to say I agree. I didn't really notice it when I had access to this for the icon renovation, but now that it's the main site and people are mentioning it, it does stand out as a bit in the way. Even more so because the sides are empty.

This is how it looks for me on a 1366x768 laptop monitor, don't tell me that's not a bit cramped.
I can't even see the site like that. It looks incredibly bugged to me and I'm on a 1280x1024 monitor.
Have you tried doing a hard refresh (CTRL + F5) or two? Or maybe clearing your cache? You're probably loading a cached version of the old stylesheet and yes, the site looks like a disaster until the new styles load.
Going to look into reducing the cramped header issue today I think. Will let you know the results.

Do these red names mean that those games haven't fully transitioned to new icons?

I also assume that those "No f" buttons mean to replace icons? Personally they look kinda tacky and weird but I guess it does make it easier to edit.
Those aren't public features. You can only see them as site staff or if you were manually included in the renovation project. Those browse buttons are just upload forms for mass-replacing icons and yes, the red background does mean that the game is not yet complete but the general public can't see it on the live site.
If you now have a browser height of less than 780px, the header is no longer fixed.
