Oh, we're allowed to make suggestions for the CSS?
In that case, could an admin apply the following changes to the Pixeltendo theme? I've even conveniently included the entire CSS file so all you have to do is Select All, Copy, and Paste.

What this does is make it so that certain fields with super bright colors (such as PM notifications, Report descriptions, etc) have darker colors and are therefore readable without having to highlight, while changing other fields (Reputation comments, etc) to match the rest of the theme.
It would be nice to get some sort of notification if someone comments on a specific sheet that you uploaded.

Or does that already exist and I'm just not seeing it? Tongue
It doesn't and while we talked about attempting to add notifications, we eventually realized it was too much of a headache to try to implement. The best I can offer for now is that you check the full comments list (http://www.spriters-resource.com/comments/) occasionally to see if you've missed anything. Far from optimal, I know, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

M'kay, no problem then. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Smile
Wouldn't it be possible to simply display the name of who submitted the sheet in the comments table? If that was there, someone might be able to make a script to notify (through email or other means) when the page is updated with a comment on a sheet submitted by a specific member.
I could easily do email notifications but that's really not the best way to handle things, especially considering. That we're having email problems as it stands.

What I hadn't originally thought of before but just came up with now though, is a customized RSS feed. I can probably put one together that gives you all comments posted on sheets by a specific submitter name. Would that suffice?
http://www.vg-resource.com/forum-99.html

so there's this forum that no one posts on here (well not until the next big event in this game)

let's face it: sure ok people play tf2 but no one really cares enough about it to post.

can we like repurpose this subforum to be like an MMORPG/MOBA video game show-and-tell/guildmaking forum? it'd be gimondo neat and it'd have some fresh posts and decent traffic.
I didn't even realize we had game-specific sub-forums. I'd say neither are really necessary, though the Pokemon one is a bit bigger.
It could help to get that WoW group going.

you should venture outside the staff forum sometime petie, you're missing a lot all cooped up in there.

but yeah neither are necessary but the users would sure be busy in the MMORPG/MOBA show and tell subforum!! im thinkin in po$ts and ad revenue if you know what i mean Wink Wink

An RSS feed would be perfect actually. I don't know about other people, but I follow a number of feeds and check my reader each day, so it would be just as good as notifications.
Wouldn't it be possible to add a tutorial section to the main page again?
Already a planned feature. Smile
Can you guys find a way to sneak in this forum theme? It's a monochrome version of the Apart series, and good for those with refined tastes (read: users over the age of 20)

you don't have to necessarily reinvent the wheel per se; import the CSS, copy the images into a directory like /one/, and repoint stuff so it uses the Apart code structure. All you have to do, really is revisit the top banner (maybe to a monochrome one like...)

Call it "The VG Resource Prime" or something, idk. :E

(not to be a ginormous buttface, but i think this whole thing could be done in like, 15 minutes lol)
Maybe adding the thanks feature on mobile devices?
