In full support of Koopaul's idea. Here's to hoping it'll be able to be used. Smile

I made a topic about it earlier in there without realizing we had this thread, but yeah I think it would probably help that forum gain a bit more attention as well.

cool idea bro. someone get on this!! Blank
Three ideas (feel free to Private Message me/post here about my ideas) cool:

#1: Going to paint and highlighting and pasting can be VERY+ long and hard to do possibly confusing however how about an option to just go to the whole sprite sheet or go to one image at a time.

#2: Making the option of going to one image at a time and making the background SLIGHTLY at best longer and larger than the image.

#3: Do companies know of our sprites and usage? type thread and sticky it and tell what happened when the company(ies) found out such as Game Maker usage.
...WHAT?

I do not understand anything that is written in this post.

#3 isn't even written in semi-coherent English.
I think for the first 2, he wants to show the sheets or each sprite on a sheet individually, with the sprite having a bigger area around it. Or something like that.
I think he wants some sort of built-in image editing program on the site to select individual sprites because he's the laziest person on Earth or something?

I have no idea.
I had nothing else to do so I posted thisCute........wait this is my first post yay!!!!!
There is a welcome board for this things, you know. Try it out

About the PM, I really don't understand but I think the 3rd one is about the usage license of the sprites. Sort of to write down the allowed usage for them or anything like that. Like "Free for non-commercial uses" or anything. I also think he might be asking what the companies think about the site itself, if there is a problem or anything.
I was really hoping that there could be one place on the forum where people could ask questions about spriting and get help from more experienced spriters. I am really unsure as to where I should post my questions. This would be very helpful Wink

Try the sprite discussion sub forum: http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...php?fid=14
That's generally where people do that sort of thing.
Thanks Shadowth117! I couldn't find that sub forum before. That was very helpful.

It's probably because you normally sign into http://spriters-resource.com/ and when you click the banner it brings you to http://www.spriters-resource.com/

Trust me I had the same issue and thats what it was.
reposting this from the other thread:

Make the real life forum so that you can only see if if you're registered and logged in like it was on PT. (and how spamhaul currently is.)
It's not a huge deal or anything, but this prevents the googlebots and unregistered users from looking around in there and caching some stuff in there that people probably wouldn't want "getting out".
