I'd also like this, I've seen mods do it and it'd be nice if regular users could as well. It is pretty useless, but would still be cool.

Maybe we should implement a code for posting on the forum like Jer suggested, but only display it to people with instant approval enabled? It doesn't solve the issue for everybody, but those that tend to upload 40-50 and want to post them, it does save a lot of time, and those that are consistently great at uploading. For example, I'll enable Jer's account for instant approval, and thus remove this hurdle for him.

We can definitely do this. I'll add it to the bottom of the "Just Added" box now.

Edit:

Unfortunately, like I said, this isn't possible. It seems that the plugin checks if a user can post before allowing them to thank. Since staff can post in locked threads, they can also thank in them but to enable thanking in locked threads for normal users, we'd have to let them post in locked threads as well.
would it be possible for the forum to get another dark theme, similar to the pixeltendo theme, but
with the modern vg resource layout? My eyes have been getting more and more sensitive to bright white
on my screen over the last year (I may need to get them checked out) and the pixeltendo theme's icons
for threads constantly confuse me; I keep clicking threads i've already read because the icons are so similar.

Is this supposed to be active already? Because I'm not spotting it.

Also, I'm just throwing this out there (with a little bit of hubris I admit), if you guys are interested in having one directly on the site, you're welcome to use the code for my in-browser icon creator. You can alter the code to suit your needs, of course.
It is indeed. As long as you have instant approval (you do), the game you're submitting to is approved, and you've clicked "Add Another", you should see a "Forum Code" text box appear in the "Just Added" table. See the attached image for an example. The only thing you shouldn't see is the Edit link.

As far as using your in-browser icon maker, I feel like we may have talked about asking you about that at some point and just never got around to it. I could use a link to it though as it's been a while since I've seen it. I'm not 100% sure it's something we're looking to do but it's definitely something I'll keep in mind. Thanks for the offer!
Yeah, I just figured that out. I wasn't using the "Add Another" button before.

Oh right sorry, I read your reply to Goemar incorrectly. That makes sense though.

Also that forum code thing looks extremely handy, I'll definitely be using it.
This is probably in the pipe work but, you may want to slap the vg-resource logo etc on the mobile version of the site.
Since this is more of a suggestion than an error, can you guys merge Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles? They are generally the same game (despite them being in seperate cartrages, you need both games to get the whole package), and it would be helpful too rather than just go back-and-forth between sections.
On the same note, it may be handy to merge the two LoZ Oracle games. They both use a lot of the same graphics (tiles, rings, enemies, etc) and I feel like it would be a lot simpler and easier to browse that way.

+1 to this.
Also, it would be nice to have something else instead of the stars.
My idea was to represent each level by a sprite through video game history.
For example:
Level 1 : Pong
Lvl2: E.T. or Pac Man from Atari
Lvl3: Nes Mario
Lvl4: Terra from FF6
Lvl5: Pikachu, Gba
Lvl6: Jame Bond from Golden eye 64
Lvl7: a collosus from Shadow of the Collossus on Psx
Lvl8: Master Chief from Halo, Xbox
etc.
Howdy!

I've uploaded a couple of sheets to tSR recently and have been wondering if it would be possible to have the Section dropdown box default to the last chosen section when going for "Add Another".
I also thought it'd be nice to have a link back to a game's page from the "Edit Game" page.

Nothing important, but I thought I'd drop it anyways. Have a nice day~
I could have sworn we had a link back to the game from the edit page but apparently not. I'll get that put in for both games and sheets tomorrow. As for defaulting the section dropdown, it's definitely possible but I'd like some more feedback first. It seems logical that you'd be adding multiple sheets to the same section if you're using the Add Another button so it's something I'll likely put in but a couple of other opinions couldn't hurt.
I'd also love such an option. Especially when uploading a large number of sheets, not having to select the same section over and over could save a good chunk of time.

Also, less important, but what daemoth suggested seems like a nice little thing to do. If possible it'd be something worth considering, I think.
What puggsoy said, that'd be very useful.
