Could you make the registration page have a condensed version of the overall rules, and and a conformation box where the user would
have to type a captcha somewhere along the lines of "I agree to these terms" or something? I know that doesn't force anyone to actually
read the rules, but having them in front of you at the start would leave no excuses.
You know, the request board could use an extra rule stating that if it is optional, to post of the trailer/gameplay video of the game you would like to see ripped, if possible, so that way there might be less confusion about the subject.

And post the title of the game and the system and any information that might speed up the process of finding out what you want.
Everyone is free to do so. No need for a rule - if you don't make clear what you need, the chance someone will provide it is smaller. It's pretty much common sense and if you fail at that, good luck in life!!
How about an all-purpose livestream thread if these livestreams continue to pop up? Jus' saiyan.
Would it be possible to give the [img] tag some optional parameters that allow you to choose the image's size? That way people don't have to resize images manually if they're too big (or small, I guess).

You wouldn't even need to define width and height, you could just have a single width parameter and the height resizes accordingly (which would make it easier to keep the same proportion).

or a [thumb] tag, similar to facepunch
Or a [url] tag so people can link to huge images instead of embedding them so they load every tme.
Most people either use a link or use spoiler tags and give a warning. I think that works well enough.

+ Would it be possible to have a sub-forum in Creativity for completed Apps?
This MyBB mod may or may not have some usefulness to it around here.

I was initially looking for a mod to ban from posting in particular threads, but this was the closest I could find at the moment.
How about a Video Game Music resource?

I know there's a VG Music site already, but that's for MIDIs: http://www.vgmusic.com/

How about if it has actual video game music from the actual video games? Smile (maybe allow people to upload .wav's, .mp3's or other audio-type media?)
That would go into the sound resource, IMO.

Edit: Wait, forgot, music's copyrighted material so it can't be hosted on the site.

This has been answered before. Video game music is a huge copyright concern, considering most companies sell their music on CDs nowadays. If we hosted ripped music like Sprite Database does, we could get in trouble.

So, no, it's not gonna happen. Sound effects are all we're gonna host, audio-wise.
Sound Submission Guidelines Wrote:1) We can't accept Music/BGM rips.
This section of the VG Resource is for Sound Effects only. Music is somewhat more privvy to protection (what with the use of licensed songs in some games and all that), and you can get hold of that kind of thing from countless other sites.

Simply put, we'd get into a lot of trouble for hosting copyrighted material (which is what music is), and nobody wants that. Just stick with Google for finding video game soundtracks and music rips.

EDIT: Fsghsf Random Talking Ninja!
Oh. Sad Nevermind.
Say uh, is there a reason we haven't brought back sprite duels yet?
