ok, I was just checking. Thanks for clearing that up

Thats exactly what this thread is for.

Also, I dont know if this has been discussed yet, but should Falco's Landmaster be the airwing instead? I dont know if this has been discussed, but if so, I think it should be slower than landmaster, but not affected by gravity.

I thought this thread was to discuss move changes, though. Like... things that affect the actual spriting process. I wasn't aware that this thread was for talking about damage coding changes, but meh.

And ar the current moment... I have nothing really on-topic to add. Sorry about that. Unsure
This topic's for any form of tweaking to characters in general, aesthetic or otherwise.

So why did you write anything in the first place?

Notice how you just did the exact same thing? And notice how a lot of others have done so, too? Tongue

That said, I just thought we should be focusing on actual movement tweaks for the sprites. Such things like damage and what-not can easily be discussed when we actually have the sheet to work off, if you know what I mean.

See what you just did there was try [and fail] to turn that around against Aura. Take the criticism and learn from it. If multiple people have commented on your needless posting then there's obviously an issue there. Additionally saying that those who are commenting on your posting are causing the same issue as you is blatantly trying to shift blame.
How is trying to keep order (by means of constructive criticism) doing the same as needless blather posts? Gonna Puke
Back on topic please?
Thanks for that, Arthur, but... never mind. Ill only end up starting an arguement that will involve the whole of the spriters resource, get told by ninspriterx to stick on topic, end up getting this whole topic closed an illl get banned, and people will get upset that Im gone because you all love me, blah blah blah...

Anyway, as an aestetic change, should Lucario roll his arms around his aura sphere? because thats a typical Martial arts move, and will look more badass than just move his arms further apart from each other
Nah, I wasn't trying to shift blame (hell, I did think I was being a bit too harsh, which was why I added the Tongue smiley). I was trying to say something in regards to discussing damage changes later on, and what I said was completely disregarded, y'know? One sentence in my whole post was picked out, and the reply was based on that. I don't really like that, but then... I'm not one to hold a grudge on anyone for more than five minutes, so yeah, might as well end this pointless arguement, eh?

I agree Lucario's arm movement whilst charging the ball seems almost lifeless, but then again... it wouldn't make all that much sense for his hands to move, either. This is Pokemon after all, and Pokemon has a fascinating style when it comes to charging beams, unlike what you'd find in Naruto or something. It's generally based on static poses, for some random reason. Besides... I don't know... but I think waving/swirling hands would look a bit odd when you tap the button twice before it's fully charged, resulting in a fairly quick shot. The good thing about the static hands is how it can easily be shot from any charged level.
I think we should change the neutral B of ganondorf to light balls that he throws in OoT (his punch can be the down B or something like that). The balls can be repelled by attacking them, and as it is hitted, it gets faster and stronger. I think we have to change is up B too (like something with the portals of twilight princess), but the side B is ok for me (although it can grave when at the ground =P).
i agree that Ganondorf should be changed, to prevent him from being a clone of captain falcon. Maybe he could actually use his sword this time 'round.
Could you maybe give an example of what the moves look like, just so we know what they would be like (because, shamefuly, i have never played the legend of zelda Sad )
Maybe only sword-wielding characters would be able to reflect the light beam? Y'know.. to avoid making the move essentialy useless, seeing as everyone would be able to dodge it?

Actually, wasn't Ganondorf only able to make those light beams with that.. sword? That said, it's not like Smash Bros. Games make sense anyway.

And I definately agree with the Up B. Ahh, the twirling superman thing didn't quite cut it for me. I pretty much main Ganny, and I seriously can't stand that move. The teleport would work VERY well. He'd just disappear into black-ish purple squares/polygons, and appear likewise.

The light ball is at around 2:15. A charged form is around 4:30.
Haha, so he doesn't need the sword. Well that works perfectly for a B move, then! Still, I think only characters with swords should be able to reflect it. Just to give Ganondorf a unique weakness to sword-wielding characters.

And I personally really like the looks of that ground pound... maybe it should replace Down B? Obviously simplified.... like, he'd just lift his arm and smash the ground. Or even jump a little. Much like Donkey Kong's down B, but stronger, and non spammable.

EDIT: Back to the beam: Seems he charges it as well. This works nicely too. In these instances, when charged a fair bit, maybe sword wielding characters can't reflect it at all? And... obviously it'd be more powerful.

I also like the idea of having the beam follow the enemy for a bit. Perhaps it'd be fairly slow, but when it gets a solid hit, not only does it do some damage, but it could even paralyze the foe for a little bit?
How fast will his balls travel? because in OoT they travel pretty slowly
(Thanks Shikaru for showing me that)

Also, I was thinking that he could use his sword in either his A moves, and/or change his B moves aesthetically to fit in the sword. For example, in his side B, he could swipe with his sword when he hits someone, and its covered in purple stuff
Thanks for the video shiraku (Y).

The ground pound can be used with the portals, like, he makes a portal at his top, then jumps into it (with a fierce animation), the portal move a bit or apears in other place, than ganondorf get out of the warp and land with a wave around him (minding this animation remembers me the attack that ganondorf uses in the last battle of TP, when he jumps up and appears at your back). This can apear a little slow move, but, with the correct timing of the animations, can have a good delay.

Technically, the balls starts slowly and progressively gets faster. The problem to make it chargeable is that samus, lucario, marth, ike, mario, donkey kong and probably roy have chargeable attacks (although only samus and lucario has a chargeable beam), wich make it a bit non original. The strenght of the attack should be based in the amount of damage acumulated, like a shell. Also, I liked the idea of a paralisating effect.

I think he should not use too much his sword, specially because he barely take it in the games (only at close encounters), and it will only add one more sword users. Perhaps he use it only with the down or side B (as a substitutive for his "ganon punch" or just a sometype of stab, I can't have more creative ideas =P).
