...what in the hell...
well the developers did want to incorporate the Final Smash move in the first Smash Bros. but due to graphic limitations (like practically everything else) and probably memory, they couldn't sadly. I believe I read this in one of the interviews, forgot the name of it, though.

I don't quite understand this.

It was discovered through a hack that PK Starstorm was going to be Ness' FS in SSB64.

Besides, it's not the same as changing other moves. PK Starstorm didn't have any room for technique or anything, it wasn't controllable. No one will go "but I always did this special thing with that move!" If players miss the PK Starstorm Final Smash, it's because it looked pretty.

Back in the N64 PK Starstorm had a long time of waiting to finally be used.

I think it's wrong to change something that's not for decloning purposes or fixing problems. PK Starstorm had no problems, it worked.

Maybe I'd be more okay about having the move removed if it was something half assed... but this was there since the beginning!

The only reason you wanna get rid of it is because "Ness never used it!" which is silly.

Starstorm is WEAKER than PK Rockin' and Ness actually used the goddamn move. Why not incorporate it? It is his signature move, he deserves to have it in his actual moveset.
Eithier way

Neither Ness or Lucas know PK Starstorm. Canon wise they never could.

It's a fucking awful move anyway.
Poo assist with Ness's brawl take on PK Starstorm
Kumatora assist with Lucas's take on PK Starstorm

Everyone get's their actual signature move, and we still have starstorm incorporated into the game
i think lucas should have pk love as his fs and ness have pk rockin its both of there signature moves and if we want pk star storm in the game ill make a kumataro assist trophy and she will use it ya for own moves Big Grin

No, the reason I want to get rid of it is because Ness DID use PK Rockin', as his signature move.

Your reasoning is that UNUSED data shows he would have used PK Starstorm in Smash Bros. 64.

I don't care if it's a year ago or 8 years ago that they made Ness' Final Smash PK Starstorm, it's still stupid. If anything, it's even stupider that they did it back then, when Ness was more relevant as a character, where more people would have known that his signature move was PK Rockin'.

Hey, the DK Bongos didn't exist until after Smash Bros. 64 was out. And yet, I don't think Donkey Kong's Final Smash would have been shooting fireballs because Mario taught him how to do it.
Whether you believe its stupid or not he still did it. This game isn't Earthbound. We shouldn't get rid of something that works fine just because it didn't happen in the game.
Koopaul, aren't you always complaining about proper representation, or "iconic" representation. We're representing the characters when developing movesets, the characters added represent the game series, not the movesets of the characters, there are a lot that can be done to do that (oh look, assist trophies!!!)

Starstorm also sucks

EDIT: And you're right, everything worked "fine" in brawl. But guess what, we're not making this game for "fine" we're making this to IMPROVE UPON the previous game. With that logic, no character tweaks should be done at all ever because everything worked "fine" before.
Samurai Goroh FS to be Blue Falcon
"Starstorm also sucks"
How in Earthbound it sucks or Brawl?
And yet Rock Smash is one hell of a move to use in Brawl while it's in game version sucks balls. I don't think whether it's good or not gauges how good it will be in the Smash Bros series.

But I'm not going against switching thing. I don't care about it too much. As long as Rockin' and Love are two completely different things, I'll be good.
In Earthbound it's a wonderful (yet costly) attack, in brawl it's terrible.
Then fix it.

I just don't think its right over changing things just because its canon.
Then we should leave Wolf's FS Landmaster.

IT'S A REASONABLE MOVE WHY CHANGE IT?!?!?!!?!?!
