For Sonic I was thinking his Running A could be the somersault from Sonic Adventure 2. Maybe the fire somersault.

I had the crazy idea earlier of either giving Mario or Luigi the Star Spin from Super Mario Galaxy for their Up-B, but the classic Jump Punch probably serves its purpose well enough and, of course, is in more games.

I support the somersault.

Also since Wario and Kirby can eat items, why not letting Yoshi do it as well?
Maybe make it Mario' down air? Or Luigi's down B?
Also I don't like Mario's specials changing to different FLUDD nozzles (not sure who started that).

Also I'm fine with Luigi's intro but his FS should change into something less creepy.

I think this would make a great Down Special. It doesn't have the best damage, but its knockback is great. When used mid-air, you get an extra jump with it.

Something to do with Boos? Luigi could summon King Boo to the stage and starting to vacuum it in. Other players could get sucked in too and at the end, the Poltergust would overheat and explode, sending caught players flying. Touching King Boo would also cause some minor damage. For the duration of the FS, Luigi's speed and jumping height would be slightly reduced, also preventing the use of any attacks. As a possible extra gimmick, players could hit King Boo to weaken him and thus end the Final Smash faster (but not too quickly).
That sounds pretty cool, but would the vacuum suck people in instantly, or use vacuum physics?
Vacuum physics, also sucking in players easier if they have more damage.

But I can't think of how my idea would apply to a lot of things :/, oh well
I'd like to change the characters as little as possible unless it's for technical reasons (Snake's FS might be this) or common sense ones (New moveset for Roy).
This has probably been said before, but what's the point in making a Smash fangame if we're trying to make it as similar as possible to Brawl? I think the better choice here would be to make the game as good as possible, a new Smash game. Or at least vote on the more major character and / or gameplay changes.
We don't want to completely screw people who are used to the old characters either. Besides, we're adding a bunch of our own characters, stages, etc.
except nintendo themselves do that in smash. just look at how much luigi has changed since smash64, or even falco between melee and brawl
