Peach could have attacks based on her "emotions" from SPP. There's no need to change how attacks work, maybe just how they look.
Like for instance, when Peach floats, we could use an animation based on when Peach is in the joyful state that she floats arounds laughing. And have two A-smash attack based on her raging and crying states. Also, her B attack (that I never really understood what the hell was that) could be a counter with Perry. I remember Perry having an ability to grab an enemy or something like that, which could be a grab.

edit: also, a Seismic Toss grab attack for Charizard, he seriously needs one
For Mewtwo, I was thinking about reworking some moves. In Melee, his moveset was based a lot off of Shadow Ball, his signature move from the first movie. However, he can only learn it by TM and it isn't even a move of his type, Psychic. All of his smashes, his A combo, one of his throws, and his standard B attack. I was thinking of another move to use as a sort of theme, and what I came up with was Psycho Cut. In the games, its a physical Psychic attack, which means it works better for Smash attacks than most other Psychic type moves. I was also thinking about just having a bunch of attacks from the games as his moves. Mist could be Down Smash, where a shroud of light blue fog surrounds Mewtwo. I also wanted to incorporate Swift somehow.
I'm all for mixing up Mewtwo's attacks, but not every one needs to be a named attack from the games. For almost all of the Pokemon characters only their B attacks and FS are attack names.
Quote: I think that Ness's up smash should be replaced.
Quote:i agree, his up smash is useless, especially compared to lucas'. also we should make his up b more like smash 64. at least then you got a good deal of height (and some good damage) if you could pull it off.

Ness' up smash is fine because of the flinching it does while charging. It's situational, but he really doesn't need it to be stronger.

maybe it could be a BIT buffed in terms of knockback, but he has enough powerful moves already
I also say don't weaken Ness's bat like they do in the series.
I say strengthen it!

This SO FUCKING HARD.
Yeah, Ness's nerf with the bat sucked.
Did anyone already suggest that Ness' Final Smash be replaced with PSI Rockin'?
How would that work?

I'm not exactly sure, but I've read that it's supposed to be some sort of psychic wave attack? That could easily be turned into a Final Smash, and it's actually one of Ness' moves.
I also posted something a while back that I think we should change about Ness. The slingshot is the only weapon type that isn't represented in Smash, so I say that his up smash be changed to slingshot. All agreed say I. All opposed say nah.
ayyyyye. his up smash is worthless right now
Up Smash Slingshot sounds pretty cool. I mean, if Snake can have a mortar as an Up Smash, it's not like it's impossible to implement or balance.

As for Psi Rockin', or PK Rockin', or whatever whatever, how about you just have it react pretty much like Starstorm, maybe tweaked a little, and just change the graphics? From what I remember, at least one of those moves involves psychic energy in a pattern that seems to rain down, so.. Just a thought. Maybe someone should rip the graphics of the different Rockin' variations for the site and show them as an example. xDDD
Have we conducted a list of tweaks? We should put them in the first post.
also, we should make ness' up b like it was in the first ssb, at least then you got some range and power for the effort that goes into recovering
