Engineers more like ninjaneers, building teleporters and sentries near the enemy base so they can kill teams as they start to advance.

Yea but if your trying to add someone else with a free account (like my brother) it just wont work.
we add people on steam, not on tf2.
Yeah... and a lot of people are new to steam because of tf2, and if they just have tf2 for free and they haven't bought anything, they can't add or accept. Last time I'll say it lol

how would tf2 be able to disable a feature of steam
i do recall people having no games installed not being able to add friends, but people could accept invites with just alien swarm installed.

what
did you read

when they updates steam security, people who haven't bought anything on steam can't add or accept anyone.
I'm jsut saying theres a lot of new people who have steam and only have tf2 because it's free, so they can't add anyone.
Couldn't you just pay for a cheap game that you don't plan on playing? It's kinda crappy that you have to, though. It seems silly that you have to pay something for identification, rather than just being able to submit payment details :c
No credit/debit card.

The only reason I don't have any actual games on steam, though I'm not exactly new to it.
Otherwise all I would have to do is buy a 99c hat and that would upgrade me to premium.

I'm aware, I just thought having someone on your steam friendslist would make it easier to get
yourself and a couple of friends in the same server, like it is with a lot of games.
^^^This.
Yeah I've had steam for a while, but that's my problem, no way to pay.
I'd have to ask my brother to buy me something and he doesn't like when I do that =\
i have a couple of indie pack games tickets you people can redeem on steam.
done. i told you i solve practical problems.
Soooo if you have the game can you play with steam players on the ps3? I remember hearing something about that when portal 2 came out

i'm pretty sure not, I imagine they'd have to make the game be designed for that from the ground up (and this game is getting near 4 years old now) and I think the console versions of the games don't have any of the updates that came out after the game's launch (not even like, payload maps or the first set of medic weapons; spies don't have their watches refill by ammo, no floating pluses when overhealed, etc.)
vintage ps3 team fortress 2.

Well fuck.
