Pikachu*
That blend looks really ugly. It would look better if you just stretched out the sprite, not adding hundreds of colors to it.

I know this isn't Constructive Criticism and I don't help around here much, but I think you guys are making Pikachu and Gooey look worse with each animation.
Think back to how clean, refined, and smoothly animated Solink and Pik's Ness was. Your edits on the other characters should match that more.

Haha, I didn't do Ness; pik did.

It's not so easy when you don't have an animating program to see how smooth they are...

But just for future references... where exactly do they look 'unclean'?

Didn't have the energy to do the rest.

the scratch was meant to pivot on his front foot, but hey...

anyway, thanks for that. At least we know what problems aroused from the sprites.

Fixed that tail in the idle, alternated the blink, and made Pikachu scratch his face twice this time

Didn't know how to animate "alternate between these frames", but I did some others.

Lol, maybe shouldn't have aligned on the head, it looks ridiculous.

Pretty good work so far. Though the head on the running animation could maybe move a little more.

Well, when it said alternate between these frames meant that the first time that the idle is played, he doesn't blink, but does the second time, and so it just loops, going 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2...

Sorry if it isn't very clear. Thank you so much for these though!

It seemed something was missing in the running sequence, so I just quickly put together that extra sprite. Tongue

And as for the blur not looking quite right for the up B, I agree... it didn't turn out how I'd hoped. By all means, someone should try simply stretching the sprite. Or I could later on.

Anyway, I'm pretty ecstatic about the fact that my holidays have just begun. That means sleeping and hopefully a lot more spriting. Tongue

Fixed the UB and made an algled stretch (though I don't know if it's necessary):

Pikachu looks flat there, and slightly worse than Tarv's

Ok, I divided it in three parts:

No Blink:

Blink:

Pikachu's running frames need more... bottom of face.
