So...now they're working on FF6 for iOS

Would prefer FF9 on PC personally.
I've always found that sprite style weird for the Final Fantasy remakes they've been doing. It looks like a Korean sprite-based MMO rather than what I'm used to. But hey, nobody's forcing me to buy it, and it IS sometimes interesting to see things done in new styles. At least it couldn't get much worse than that Mega Man X iOS version... -Shudder-
I personally liked the sprite style for FF1, 2 and 4 PSP, but this isn't quite like that. It's like they attempted Cel-shading on the characters, but half-assed it, and it looks unappealing to me.
Recently discovered inFluent on Greenlight, which is a game to help you learn languages. It's 3D, and essentially you're in your house/apartment and have a gadget that translates any object, and it gives you synonyms, verbs, etc, and gives you the native pronunciation in audio. It also stores the words you've learnt, and you can test yourself by seeing if you can locate the objects it tells you to. And all this is at your own pace, without any real path or anything. It seems more like a learning tool, rather than something that actively teaches you.

The only thing is that each language has to be bought as a separate pack. I'm not sure how it'll work on Steam (if it gets Greenlit) but that's how it is on PLAYISM (where you can already buy it). I think the first pack might not cost though.

But yeah, seems like a really cool way to learn a language.
Just for the sake of comparison...I still feel like the updated sprites for FF6 ( http://cdn.toucharcade.com/wp-content/up...Hm4vbG.jpg ) could've been handled better...

...because they look nothing like those. FF1 2 and 4 PSP had gorgeous 2D graphics, but FF5 ioS and FF6 iOS didn't quite get the sprites right...
Btw, someone never ripped the sprites from FF2 PSP for the battle/overworld o.o.
These games only existing on IOS breaks my heart. There's also a FFIVDS style remake of After Years coming only to mobile. Stupid mobile gaming.

It's not that they didn't get it right, it's that they didn't even try.

YES! Hopefully we see more hit PC.
I wouldn't get too excited about a PC FF9. FF7 and FF8 PC already existed back in the PS1 days.
Yeah, that's what I figured.

FF9 never came out on PC but if it does.......
Don't crush my nostalgia! Vivi shall rise again!
I got into the Hearthstone beta aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've been wanting to play a good card game for the longest time
omg so fun

Between this and MtG DotP I'm set for a long time to come
I was checking the eShop character sale in the hopes of Donkey Kong '94 being discounted (it's not) and noticed "Game & Watch Donkey Kong Jr.". Out of curiousity, I clicked on it, and learned that this was being distributed as DSiWare. Why would they release G&W games under the DSiWare label instead of Virtual Console?
maybe they're not ports or emulations; instead, they're from-scratch remakes?
