this is kind of my exact reaction to the series because
at the time i first saw it i was like 12 and the first episode i saw was that one where the girl and her dad and grandpa were trying to kill themselves and it was just so bothersome

New chapter of One Piece Wednesday. We'll get to see what happens regarding that cliffhanger last week, I am excited!! And Saturday's episode of One Piece had amazing animation. Fishman Island looked beautiful.
I was definitely looking forward to this week's chapter as well! I really was wondering where they would go with that

I can say I did not see that coming whatsoever. Though the whole thing with Jinbe was expected. It may just be my assumption, but he seems like he's almost stronger than Luffy, and I don't see how having a member of the crew being stronger than the captain would work out very well. But regardless, I'd like to see where Oda goes with this Shirahoshi shit
This is old news, but for the first time, I actually watched the "uncensored" version of TTGL ep 6. While the idea behind the episode was still pretty stupid, I'm surprised that it was actually somewhat ok (certainly better than the "censored" version where they padded it out with flashbacks... of the first five episodes).
Finished FLCL.
It started off way stupid but then it got decent by the ending.
Time for Revolutionary Girl Utena.
