various rips
Another big sheet done, Plok & Grandpappy Plok.
Not sure what to do next. Maybe Zelda 3?

Edit: Wait a minute, I wanted to look into DKC2 first.

No colour conflicts here:

The weapons share colours, but these colours are identical on both clubs. The rest can be easily recoloured.

Yeah. I tried recoloring them several times over the years and the clubs are what always what stopped me.

Seems like the club and the character are on different "layers" though.

Sheet is complete, needs a bit organizing though.
Btw, can someone delete the other Plok character sheets? After all, I made a complete re-rip for him:

Plok sheets are all taken care of.

This sheet looks awesome! The only thing I might suggest is calling the palettes "Klubba's club" and "Kudgel's cudgel," haha.

Damn, I missed this joke and just revised it. Guess I just change it later.

Anyway, this boss got re-ripped completely with all the layers. K. Rool has layers for his weapon too, but it's just so the devs could throw in more colours. It's not like there is some stuff behind the sprite, it's blank space in form of the blunderbuss.

Nah, not going that far. Only doing a handful of rips, like this one:
- Regular World Maps
I revised the other world maps sheet and only left the Lost World map on it, since this one needs more ripping and my sheet was already big enough.

I also contacted rufaswan and he uploaded a new Lunar 2 ZIP with transparent backgrounds instead of black ones, which means I can really go for all these maps and start sheeting them. I will also revise the three existing ones (Zaback, Meribia, Madoria) and try some of the fiends. If anyone wants the ZIP:
Quote:Same as Xenogear's Lucca, Horam map actually have 2 black colors in the palette - the 0th one is the transparent background, and 30th one is gfx black color.

Here you go - maps are re-rip with the 0th color become transparent:

Come to think of it, all the data are still intact when my script convert result *.CLUT to *.PNG. As long as you leave the image mode as "Indexed", not converted to "RGB", you can edit it via "Colormap" tab. After that, you can use "Select by Color Tool" to remove that background.

Also new WIP

Added Fireworks (DKC2).
Also revised the bramble tileset by decluttering it and reducing the file size.

Added Funfair Backgrounds (DKC2).
Mandela effect strikes back, because I remember these ones having a full animation with the ferris wheel moving or at least an animation for the lights. In the end, it's a static bg with a flash frame every time fireworks explode.

I'm not surprised that this game didn't see a release outside Japan, I mean the balance is completely off. I'm softlocked in the first dungeon because the enemies are too strong and the neccessary gear too expensive. I also can't retreat to a town and the enemies I'm fighting against (particularly Glow Gem) receive like... 1 HP damage?

Of course, have a WIP of the first town, Garade:
Edit:
I'm using this post as an easy way to look up these codes.
