I got the BRRES via dolphin emulator, ripped the models using the mario kart wii SZS modifier, then grabbed the textures using brresviewer. For some odd reason I can't grab textures using the SZS modifier or models using the brresviewer.

aah, okay. well, for submissions that use the .BRRES format, it's required to include at least a properly converted .DAE of the model too, for the bones and rigging and all.
I have a guide here on how to do that, though. Big Grin

Please read the request rules before making a request.

It would be fun if you could rip your villager from the game.

It's not impossible, just hard to organise. But if the Villager were to be uploaded, I would suggest that their individual part be categorically aligned along the model's X-axis, with each part's variation again aligned along the part's Y-axis. A 3D spritesheet, if you will.
The centre (or start or end, depending on how this is working in your head lol) of the X-axis should show the default character model (male, brown eyes w/ eyelashes, no bee sting, test pattern shirt texture, regular hairstyle, red shoes.)
A separate upload might have to be made for the female version's models, but not if they fit neatly enough into the model's layout along the Y-axis.
Each separate part and their variations should be separated by an even value that does not cause clipping between the models.
Any colours that are modifiable (hair, skin) should be white on the model, and have their potential colour values listed in the readme, categorised by part and with a colour name.
They should then be grouped, and have their separation value indicated in the readme along with the name of the parts (if available) to allow for easy swapping by simple movement along each axis.
The face and shirt textures should be uploaded separately to the Texture's Resource for efficiency.

I'll eventually get to the rest of the villagers, as soon as my laziness wears off. But yeah, please don't request without the proper prerequisites.

I have all of the shirt textures extracted, so I'll probably get to that soon-ish.
