Made this before realizing the perspective was completely off.

that really does look a lot better
@gorsal, just a quick edit of Marina here.

Older is 1. Newer is 2. Also, all of those heads are edited, too.
that is nice, but now looks like she has yellow hair :/ I guess I'm not used to high contrast stuff. Also her legs are kind of angular, so that's why I made it pointy. Rest is pretty much better Smile

Since I'm starting the sprites over, could you help me making the animations that were made in the older version?

EDIT: Looks like I can't raise her left leg one pixel higher, since her stance in the game have both at the same height (that means both of her feet are on the same plane. Making one higher than other would make the perspective wrong). Also, your edit has slighty darker colors (you saved it as a PNG, darkening the colors a bit). I'll have to start saving it as a TIFF to keep the colors consistent.
PNG has that much loss?

Anyway, yeah, I'll help.
Marina looks 2x better now. Good edit Sploder.

And I compared the two together(yours and Gorsal's)and the colors are no different. Tongue I don't know why you say they're darker.
And I keep it as bmp whenever I want to keep the colors consistent. Always worked for me. Then I save it as PNG when I'm done(that way, the colors don't change), it only gets darker when you repeatly save it in PNG.
http://img140.imageshack.us/i/ssbmarina.tif/ (saved in TIF to avoid problems: first time saving as this file type, hope it gets alright)

as you can see, your colors were a bit darker than the original sheet (I also shuffled some pixels around to get the third 'and hopefully the last update). I got some of your suggestions but I kept some of mine's, I hope you don't mind Very Sad
That's wierd. For me, it's not darker at all. X_x
But whenever you posted that compare thing, I noticed it's darker.
I see now.
So, does tif have less color loss?

BTW, I liked the brighter eyed one better...
I like the brighter eyed one too. It looks better.
hmmm, weird, I did put a light blue pixel there.

well, it's only a pixel, so it shouldn't be hard to change. *changes*
