Good to know that this might come back from the dead.
I looked back and couldn't figure out a single thing that I was doing.
Here are the files on each giant Bowser battles.

Good luck.
Just curious Chaofanatic, why did you want a save with giant Bowser? Are you gonna attempt to rip him?
Oh yeah, I remembered that Ridge used to rip giant Bowser. I'm not sure if he has finished ripping him.
I don't think he ever was. Just the overworld, but I don't think he ever finished it.
With RTB's help I tried to rip some Giant Bowser tiles, yeah. I gave what I had to Chaofanatic as he seems to know more about tile ripping (I've since forgotten how), however if he allows I may help him with it. I'd like to rip as much of Bowser as possible...

With that said, it's a gigantic coincidence (no pun intended...) that as of yesterday I'm back to ripping normal Bowser's poses. I intend to rip every last damned animation of his - I've finished playing through the game again just yesterday and made a list along the way of everything I've yet to rip. If I could give an estimate, I'd say:
Overworld - 35%
Battle - 80%

Expect an actual sheet update to be posted within some days.
Alright. Can someone give me the specific settings for ripping from a no$gba snapshot in tile molester? Apparently I've completely forgotten over the years...
@Ridge: Can't wait! Care to post a WIP if you ever have the chance?

@Chaofanatic: Do you think you're better off using Desume instead? You can remove layers with it and slow the game down to get the pose you want easier.

Aha, looks like I was just as good off as you ripping tiles... I was under the impression you remembered how, that's why I gave you what I had done...
Well, I'll try it out with some of MechaMario's saves to satisfy my own curiosity... But be sure to post if you figure it out. I'll do the same.

Yeah, I will, just have some major reorganizing to do first. The battle sheet hasn't changed a lick but overworld is a triain-wreck right now.

As for using DeSmuMe to rip sprites during the Giant battles... It doesn't work. Half of the sprites are obscured by the side of the screen and even if you could get a full pose in view it'd be resized (there's a lot of zooming out and the sprites are stretched 200% for that reason). Thus... Tile ripping is the only option, and as it would happen DeSmuMe's tile viewer is absolute garbage.

Quote:Yes, I tile ripped Tingle
I used No$GBA Snapshots(.SNA)
Open your game and go to a place where you see the character/enemy you want to rip. Then, go to File and click Write snapshot(or click F8)
When you saved the .SNA file, open it in Tile Molester. Go to View>Codec and click 4bpp linear, reverse order.
Find where the sprites are and go to Palette>Import From>This File
Write 4196988 in ''offset''
This offset is where all pallettes in the .SNA file are.
(RTB found it for me by the way)
Write a number in ''Size''. (I always use 6000 to make sure I don't miss palettes. That's probably too much though =P)
You now have the sprites ready to be ripped! That also works for others games but You have to find right offset

I hope that helped :]
I found something interesting from Solink's explanation while importing .SNA files to tile molester. This quote was found in this link.

Try finding the right offset when using Tile Molester. The "4196988" offset is just an example from a game.

This is just a tutorial how to use tile molester. (This is just for Metroid Fusion, a GBA game.)

Another tutorial for tile molester. http://randomhoohaas.flyingomelette.com/ai/spriterip/
How would we find the right offset if it isn't the one he said (excuse my noob-ness on this, I'm just not a genius with TM yet...)?
Wow, MegaMario, thanks for the info! Using that method I managed to get something that looks like Bowser, but having troubles getting it positioned correctly.

If you check out that video MM linked to, it explains how. Otherwise, I'm fooling around with it at the moment, and like RTB told me before it's trial and error.

I have to fix the "things claimed list". What is everyone here ripping exactly?
