I tried making the slash follow the arc of the swing, but I'm not good with swords.
I just have a question, how does everyone feel about this project? Yay or nay? And does anyone know some good spriting apps for Samsung Galaxies?
Why are you doing the project in the first place? Although it sounds selfish, you should be doing it primarily for yourself, at least for now. It's not our project, it's yours. Have fun with it, or drop it and make something new, it's your choice.
Yeah I'm just wondering how people feel about a PBG fan game. I am doing this primarily for my enjoyment. But in a way I'm also doing this for PBG to show praise/appreciation, and for his fan base.
Well...to be blunt, I wouldn't be really interested in this kind of thing. I absolutely love videos by the PGB, but I've never found myself asking "Hey, what would PBG look like if he had his own game?" Really, the same would go for the AVGN game. I've always been a fan of his stuff but I fail to see the reason why he would need his own game.

Regardless, like TheShyGuy said, you should be doing this project first and foremost for yourself. If you make a game for others but it doesn't end up being popular, you'll feel like your time is wasted. I've ran into pitfalls like this with my own projects a few times.
This project is mostly for my enjoyment. And I do want something to happen where I become a game dev. I would feel great even if it became popular with you guys here at the Resource. Even if it didn't, it would be a fun thing to circle around me and my friends.
I say continue it. Even if it never gets popular or anything, making a game on your own is good experience. If you wanna become a professional, or even a garage dev, experience is always a must. Once you complete it, you can look back on all you've done and decide if game making is what you really wanna do. Just remember that if you ever do get on a team, you won't be doing all the work yourself, though the size of the project can still vary, so keep those in mind.

I made the blade bigger because Quirby pointed out to me that it looks a little short, less like a sword and more like a dagger. Also, about making this myself... I'm not gonna be able to do ALL of this myself. So if anyone is willing to help with this project, feel free to let me know.

Bullet Bill.
Something about the arm doesn't look right to me. I think it's too thin for how many colors it has.

I think the problem was that is to stiff as well. I made look more organic and made the pallet darker/blacker.

So... now I have a little side project that i'm working on. It's a fighting game. So I would'nt mind getting some critique on the sprites for it. So this is my character. What do you think?

SMW Goomba.
It's too tall for the SMW goomba, but then again, those sprites were ugly enough that I dunno why you'd wanna remake them.

I may as well use the Goomba sprite I never finished a while back. Also, 3 questions,
1. Do you guys think it's fine if I have PBG pull the sword out of thin air?

2. Does anyone know a good 16 bit composer program?

3. How does everyone feel about previous sprites on this thread?
