How about a steel/electric based off the 3ds?
A fire/ice based off a pinwheel?
Grass/flying based off the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turaco, assuming we don't use it as reference for the starter.
I don't know, why would a pinwheel be Fire/Ice?
Are my water suggestions up there? I'm not seeing them.

Instead of you going back, my suggestions were:

For the Regional Aquatic Pokemon, A Dolphin (Water) evolving to an Orca (Water/Ice).

The other idea, (Not for the regional pokemon) is a Whale Shark, that has a trident for it's tail fin. (psychospacecow suggested this be a Water/Steel type, we can add Atlantis style armor on it).

I've got three more fossil ideas.

A Rock/Grass type based on Parasaurolophus

The other is a Rock/Water type based on Sarcosuchus or Dinosuchus.

The last one is the Spinosaurus from the last project, but maybe updated, Type: Rock/

Are we picking 3 fossils, or just two, I don't remember if we decided on this or not.

Partly due to coloration and patterns, the other part being that wind is usually from the differences in areas' pressure and temperature assuming I remember this correctly. It couldn't fly but it could control the wind.
Sabertooth?
Tatou?
Both ice age creatures
Id really like if there was japanese mythological animals in there,
Wasnt there a bear with a leaf on its head that stood on a baloon?
Well, if we're going to go with this tropical thing, we might want to draw from tropical places and their culture and myths.
Anyone know someone that lives in a jungle-covered country?
Like I mentioned before, that's not really something to worry about. Black & White took place in the USA but the legendaries were based on the Yin and Yang.
Still, might be cool for referencing.
