Well, i started with the battle effect cause they are easy to find and trigger. But i can check Npc too. The hard thing will be to find the ones missing and finding them. You can post it in here, maybe i can see if i see some missin Tongue

Yeah, i was checking the rom and its a lot bigger than FF6. Except for the PC and some UI, everything is compressed Unimpressed

How do you plan to do things like Double Techs?
Indeed, i was wondering about this too. I guess in a single sheet. Ill have to see if a lot of things are repeated, like all the cyclone variant. Also, something that i apprehend is the fact that some abilities change depending on the direction...

Animation are weirdly done compared to other games ive done. For example, a lot of them use the background layer, like lightning, ice 2, fire 2, tailspin, dino tail and frog squash.
Noticed an error on Crono Ability. Heres the fix
Oh, that's interesting. I guess that's why they looked so good.
Finally, theres not that much unique sprites in the Triple and Dual tech and only Robo punch are changed by direction. I bet you the weapons effects are gonna have more sprite than the tech.
Weapon sprites have the most variations with Marle and Lucca's shots, and I don't remember if their close ranges get changed. Most of the others are just palette swaps, but there are legit changes too.

The one I have no idea of is Ayla's, whose "weapon" changes about twice as her level increases, I think the last one being level 99.
Ah right, Ayla weapon work with her level, ill hack my way through her then.
I was wondering, should i keep the PC in the weapon sheets?
Ex:

Things that change for sure:

Crono's sword color
Crono's slash color
Lucca's shots
Magus's Scythes

Things that might change:

Marle's bows/arrows.

Things that don't change:

Marle/Lucca's close-range attacks
Frog's weapons
Robo's weapons

How about both versions? SFX only & Hero + SFX.

Alrighty, since a lot of them are palette swap, ill do it at the end.

The second hit that Crono does is triggerred by critical hit, right? If so, are you suppose to be able to do it with each swords? Im having problem triggering them with some sword. And i cant really hack it, my Hit is already maxed out.

Yes, the second slash is from critical hits. It won't critical every turn. It just happens with the RNG sometimes.

RNG? Range? Do you know if all sword has a second hit when they crit? I tried some swords over 20 times without trigerring them...
Yes, if they crit, they'll have a second slash. They use the same animation for every sword. It's just the colors/slash effects that change.
The RNG is the Random Number Generation. It pretty much determines any random effect in any RPG, be they critical hits or enemy item drops.

Huh, weird. Found out my problem. It seems the randomisation is decided before the battle. Cause, if i do 4 attack with Crono with my save state X, he will always crit on the fourth attack...
That makes sense, haha. Well, at least you know now.
