No you just didn't know how the tunnels worked. It's really easy if you took Anatomy class in school.

(edit: I was sarcastic. Of COURSE Monstro was a pain, but the boss fights and cutscenes with Riku made it tolerable damnit)
No it was bad.

The textures were bad. The tunnels were bad. Everything about Monstro was bad.

It was bad.

Luckily, the Pinocchio world in Kingdom Hearts 3D will be the actual world and not just Monstro.

(EDIT again. The Pinocchio world in Kingdom Hearts 3D will be partially in the town and partially in Monstro. DAMNIT)
Can't say I "hate" any game. There are games I don't enjoy because those games are not my thing, but that's not the games fault.
sometimes it is, actually

some games are just abhorrent examples of game design

One of my FAVORITE GameCube games. But that was back when I did not know better, and got what I got because I was a kid with no job.
I think it's more a case of Shadow The Hedgehog being the worst Sonic game UNTIL 06 came out, which I won't argue that it was.

Thanks to Sonic 06's less than stellar reception, Shadow managed to age somewhat better and is now seen as a notch above Sonic 06 but still below just about every other Sonic game.

Despite its glitches and whatnot, the game is still unique for the Sonic franchise with its different paths and endings. The use of guns is hit or miss, as while the guns provide a different mechanic, they come at the cost of enemies having too much health to kill.

The multiplayer is ass though.
I... don't really see where I said "Sonic 06" at all, let alone "Shadow is worse than Sonic 06."

Why are you talking about 06?
His opinion?

because he's not exclusively responding to you?

Because Shadow The Hedgehog was the series' low point as of 2005. Once Sonic 06 and Sonic Genesis came out the following year, it was no longer the low point so the hate died down quite a bit, but not enough to call it a decent Sonic game(Again, in the eyes of the VERY picky Sonic fanbase)

Not really. It's more of an observation. My opinion of the game is that it's far better than Sonic 06, but still a weak Sonic game. It was something kind of different though, so I had fun with it, and as I mentioned it hasen't aged as badly as it could have thanks to, again, the release of Sonic 06.
I've really never been a shooter person. Games like Call Of Duty would go on my list. Oh, and Mario. Never liked the plumber. Sonic for life! Heart
Thanks to Mr. Necroposter here, I went back and annotated some of my older posts that really needed them.

Still reporting joo though, Necroposter.
I'm allowing the necropost.

It's one of the exception threads.
