It "dies" is when it unexpectedly crashes when you hit run. Like I said earlier, I might need a diffrent DS Emulaitor for this.

Almost forgot: Can anyone put a "how to" thing for Tahaxan? I know where to start, but the problem is how to do it.

I'll still work on this. I'll find a way to rip the characters.

Expect palletes from me soon, I completely forgot I had No$GBA. It's going as fast as it could, but It'll get the job done.

EDIT: Hero ripped, but only the basic poses, I might wait longer before I can tile-rip the other poses. Counted 7 frames total (Each sprite), but I might go back and rip anything I missed later, I'm going to get a battle pallete, hopefully this game can be fully ripped, unlike others who have been incomplete for some time now. (Nikarishi Dungeon 3 seems to be the only one near completion, however, I feel it's missing the monsters and bosses)

We also had problems ripping the monsters as well, we should rip them to balance the heroes, along with bosses. Hero below:

However, the first battle's fogged so you can't essentially right away. I might need to tile-rip the battle also. No use for save states, because mine seems to crash when I try to load one.
This was a hassle to rip, obviously. I did this the old fashioned way.

Awesome. how did you rip? Are the battle sprites difficult to rip?

The old fashioned way: Screen capture (PrntScrn) and Copy+Paste into paint, removing screenshot borderlines.

Battle's a no-go, since there is an unusally uneeded fog during the first battle in the forest, encountered by a pair of wolves. I'll just wait until I can learn to tilerip, along with story sprites or walking frames I may have missed.

I tired using IdeasDS but that doesn't work. It runs the game, but I tired using a savestates and got nothing.

Part of me wants to give up.

I've been able to find effects and status pics, but not the battle sprites. I just gotta find the palette for them which I cannot do.

If there's a way to disable to layer for the effects then we might be able to do it the old way. Otherwise, someone with the know-how of using GGD or some other tile ripping program has to come in and do it the hard way.

Took like 10 mins. Just to clean it up and fix the palette.

These sprites seem to use a lot of colors and removing the back ground its very hard.
If there was a way to disable to the battle camera then it would be a helluva lot easier.

I can solve the problem there. just erase the not-needed stuff from the shots manually. that's what I did. trust me, it works. I also studied that it seems to use pure white.

See what I did there?

Also, I have started the Main hero's battle, but I don't have his effing proper pallete. (And PrntScrn doesn't seem to work)

Ugly is ugly. (Palletes for the current character rip of the main hero, I mean) Also, Is this going to be like the last game, ND3, where we only rip the heroes and villans as well as forgetting about the rest, or will we go farther than that?

@Angelglory: When do the skit mugs appear? I gotta know.

EDIT: This could be the proper pallete..

So, you are almost done with the mugs? (I see a :Awesome: internet meme mug in there, main hero, last row of his mugs) Well, if they do appear in skits, I guess it's for the CG version.

Anyway, I was thinking about tileripping everything else, I have palletes of OW and In-Battle.. but I need to learn how to tilerip through Tahaxan though. >< (It's useless ripping the frames shot-by-shot, since it kinda glitches, yeah I have an older version of No$GBA)

It's entirely possible.

If I knew Japanese, I'd ask him how he ripped them.

Well, if we got his permission, the project would be going much more smoother.

Honestly, Im not sure how much are left. I still need to get some frames for various characters and I haven't met Kunzite yet, so that's a whole other character I don't have. Plus I don't know if I even have all of the mugs yet. It'll be a while until I'm done, I predict.
