What .cpk files? The files I was sent didn't have any CPKs at all.
That's because I already unpacked 'em both before sending them to you. Tongue

Question. Who's got dibs on the Splatoon models? I know the game isn't out yet but I'm just asking.

Can't unless the game's been dumped (which it hasn't yet).

Not quite, working on cleaning up our exploits so I can dump all of Splatoon's files. I poked around in the code from an update and the most I can tell is that it looks pretty standard and I'm mostly certain that it uses BFRES, given it uses .szs archives (Yaz0 compressed SARC files, like in all of Nintendo's other games), BYML/BYAML data files (kinda like a binary XML), BFLIM (which I can convert some of) for layouts, and MSBT for text.
Also, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_E...roup_No._2 The other game the team's worked with is Nintendo Land and that uses BFRES, as well as amiibo Festival which I can tell uses BFRES just by looking at it.

Not sure when I'll be able to grab them, we released an in-progress exploit for 5.3.2 but still need to figure out why we're having weird threading issues with stuff like Pong, and update the kernel exploit addresses. Most likely before the end of the month.
Will also be good because then I can see all the secrets they're keeping from us. Everything additional they've released so far is in the initial game, they just send a flag to your Wii U to trigger the event when you first connect. I'm 99% certain that all those weapons we saw in that guide book, and all the maps we've seen (including Camp Triggerfish) besides that weird building one in the Splatfest video, are all on the disc already, and they've been working on new maps, gear, and weapons since launch.

I'd say that Splatoon models use .BFRES as common format same as other some Wii U games. That you probably use a .BFRES MaxScript import 'em

Hi Mystie

I was just reading your post on WiiU ripping. You mentioned someone under the name 'RatchetMario', who you said had stated that the tools required to rip WiiU games have been made public.

I've tried looking for these tools, but can't find them.

Would you know where they are on the internet?

Thanks

The things that you need...

1. DiscU
2. Common key, which is illegal.
3. Wii U game dumps scene which they're around internet. (23 GB total for each game)
