Seriously, I don't have the smallest clue as to what this is. The only time I've ever seen it was on the Art Gallery from Metal Slug X, so I guess this is unused stuff.

Actually it's an item I think...scrapped though like a lot of stuff possibly. I believe if you found the lamp and collected it in time you'd get the genie to appear and it would 'grant' you ton of score pickups. I'm not sure if it's true because I read about it on a page that doesn't exist any more apparently. Either way, I'm pretty sure it's a pickup.

Metal Slug 4 developers just recycled Parker's sprites and called it a new character. Like they did with the rest of the game.
