The white coins in particular look less round and more like... squares with rounded corners. Or even hexagons almost. Is that intentional? because their outlines certainly aren't very coin-like.

Yes, they're the Medals from Super Mario 3D Land. I choose the name "Coins" 'cause I wanted to follow the one word titles.
