Why is the W on Wario's flag purple?

I assume it's to fit more into his general color scheme. Probably should be changed to the blue on his hat, though.

By the way, why does the fortress lack battlements?



The tooth-like structures you see on the tower are battlements and a lot of fortresses and castles (especially ones in the Mario games) have them. Without them, your fortress looks like an ordinary square building.

I confess that Wario logo being blue is actually news to me, I thought it was indigo. (An almost blue-purple.)

It's more of an Indigo or Blue-Violet than Blue, but I can see where you're coming from.

It's definitely not the shade of purple that BMSantos was using.
