I think the dent at the top of the heart containers is too big.

that black dot in the bottom of the hearts, they're stray pixels and they aren't actually adding any depth to the heart. Either remove it or shade it properly.

The new rupees are... boring tbh, they don't look like hexagonal gems anymore, but rather minted coins. Unless that's your idea, though

Good edit, it was lacking some depth and importance, which you gave with the black and the outline.

It shall be done. The hearts will lose their stray pixels.
As for the rubies I have a new design in mind.

Hehe! How funny... My first rubies looked like this, but I wasn't happy with them, because I personally thought they were flawed.

They are improvements, but I would suggest avoiding noise/dithering at the current scale. Keep going!
